What "change" do we exactly need? I thought we were going in a reasonably good direction just needed a bit more organisation at the back and maybe instill a better mentality into the players and we'd be in a decent shape. Perhaps a little tactical flexibility from our next manager also.

I don't think whoever gets appointed will be making wholesale changes regardless, they'll bring in a maximum 4/5 players but for the large part will continue with the squad that we have. As a whole the club will be run the exact same way.

I've already posted my reasons a few times, but to sum it up I felt him leaving the last time felt like the right time and I wasn't overly happy with his last season here either. All in all I want a slightly new direction.

So even though we were going in a reasonably good direction we need more organisation, better mentality and some tactical flexibility? :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

    Let's get back to reality.

What would the job description be for the new manager?

Given the resources at his disposal and putting a winning team together and won't be undermined by players that are wealthier than the manager. Tell me the remit and who can garner the respect of the players by saying.....been there....done that...

If our players have downed tools to get the manager sacked, then the games a bogey, as it tells me that they don't care two * about the supporters.

From a 100% source; Zero contact with Moyes, isn't happening.

    another guy posted this

Moyes has been in discussions, it's down to Celtic to meet his terms.

Moyes should not get the job.

Too meek and too mild for this job.

Couldn't even get him out for a night out when he was at Celtic back in the day.

I would suggest he was and still is an introvert.

Not the type of manager we need.

    I agree.

Like I said, you couldn't get Moyes out on a night out.

Diffident and religious was his disposition back in the day.

    Not what we need.

    So heres what we know,

Both Lennon and Malky have publicly stated their desire for the job. The board has met neither.

DD has had 2 meetings with Moyes in the past two weeks (accoding to the zoomers on kerrydale street

Odds have been slashed on Clarke

    Keane is being tight lipped

    and Di Matteo has applied.

    Silly season ffs.

I actually kind of agree with this. He was like a rabbit in headlights at Utd, can you imagine this guy going shopping for beets in waitrose and running into sevconites?

Would love Rogers myself a good * from Coalisland if not ive read a piece the other day On Biesla who was Pochittinos 1st manager and mentor through his career he would sort the * out and shift them out the door and clear the decks but the board wouldnt want anyone like that who would answer them back we will probably get another unknown puppet!:47:

Attractive football cannot be a criterion for picking the manager. In Scotland, the opposition literally forces you to batter them with brute force, as they park a double-decker in front of the goal.
