Celtic Underground are a good account, but it seems like they post a lot of * for retweets.

You can say what you want about Moyes but the thing that seals it for me is...

He wouldn't ever buy a pukki or a bangura. Could you imagine one of his teams playing with pukki??:smiley-laughing002:

Don't think he'd make any signings for the first 6 months, sure I read about how intense he goes with scouting and how many reports he expects and times to be watched before he'll consider signing someone! :56:

I would most definately be in that minority too. Agree with everything here except the Moyes bit and only because i'm not sure how he would work with us. But give me Tommy Burns' team any day.

It'd be almost impossible for any Celtic manager to set us up defensively domestically. Teams generally go for 10 at the back against us. To play defensively would never really work.

See this "winning the 10" thing, wrecks my head. I couldnt give a * and dont really understand why anyone would.
Scottish football is either ignored or scoffed at by most other countries. Its like if a team from Ethiopia or somewhere won 15 titles in a row, would we give a *?
The yardstick for us has to be Europe and we need a manager who can get us to the point where we are at least not getting pumped out in the qualifiers every year. Winning the league should only be viewed as a gateway into the champions league.
Because winning the spl is like being voted the most handsome man in the burns unit.

That's why we need a guy who knows how to set a team up. Which relates back to your point a couple posts above about preferring a gaffer who plays entertaining football like Burns' side.

I think we all would. Reality is if we want to 'succeed' as such in Europe(by that I mean at the very least qualify for the CL) we need someone along the lines of Moyes.

I know Larsson Sutton and Hartson were way more successful but see watching Van Hooijdonk, Di Canio and Cadete for that short period of time it was the baws

The quality of football under Lennon was bad. Hoofball to Samaras. Worse than Strachan.

Eh? Lennons sides never played route one? I don't see where this has came from. We rarely even played Samaras up top unless it was a European game or derby and even at that in the last 16 season we outplayed Spartak at home and only really played hoofball in the barca games. Whereas in the games vs Rangers 80% of the time we would be all over them especially at parkhead.
