Aye, your post. Found it equally dumb and funny.
You're basing him having us playing * football, on what ?
How would his football compare to our recent managers ? Only manager that had us playing attractive, was Lenny in his first season. Was immense. That's about it.

The best bit ? That you would rather lose, but as long as we are attacking ? You've watched too much arsenal. :56:

Nah. 4-6-0. 10 men behind the ball. Ugliest football known to mankind.
    Plays for the 1-0. He's a *.

Granted, his football isn't amazing but at the same time it's not the worst.

When Deila arrived promising all sorts I thought his football was going to be quality, yet we looked bereft of ideas, slow and methodical all too often.

It's reached the stage now where I just want success. Someone who can steady the ship, get the players back playing with a bit of passion and fight and winning the games that matter. In those big games especially, beautiful football often won't win you the game.

As you say Strachan's wasn't always great to watch, even O'Neil with the players he had at times was nothing special. They knew how to win games though and we had great success under them, I wouldn't trade that for anything.

I'd even say Lennon's football wasn't always great. The first season in charge was one of my most enjoyable as a Celtic fan so far however the next 3 didn't always live up to that. Once again, though, we had success. Both at home and in Europe.

    We need that back.

After we win the ten, then we can play as much attacking football as we like. Just want someone steady for the next 5 seasons.

I know what you are saying mate and it's very valid.

However to answer your question, as I said above, I'm really not arsed. I think his standard of football isn't the worst, from what I can remember of his time at Everton I didn't ever think "Christ, they are poor to watch" like I have done with Pulis or Watty over at the Huns.

As the best team in the country as well and as a guy who knows the club, he will know what we want. I find it hard to believe we'd see a seriously defensive approach. With the amount of possession we have as well domestically he'd have to adapt away from that anyway.

I think getting a manager who can play attractive, free flowing football while also winning the big games and having success both at home and in Europe is unrealistic. I'd go as far as to say it's impossible for us nowadays.

Moyes would be an ambitious appointment. Ok didn't work at Man Utd but look at Van Gaal there, he has some CV yet cant really get them going. Real Sociedad was also a bit of a * up but I don't know to many managers from the UK who go to la liga, serie a or the bundesliga and do well. His record at Everton was outstanding- you have to remember they were a real spent force when he went there. Now they are an established top 8 club and that's thanks to the work he did there. Would be a top appointment.

People saying they don't want Moyes is laughable.

Put it like this, re-wind to year we signed WGS, lets say by some miracle signed Moyes then, our fans would be creaming their frilly panties.

Was unlucky at Utd and LVG shows the real state their are in, Sociadad were also struggling and he had the balls to go over there and it didn't work.

He would do well for us here and of a higher caliber then managers we've signed in the past.

MON - FA cup winner with Leicester?
    WGS - Relegated manager
    Mowbray - Relegated manager
    Lennon - No senior experience
    Deila - Norwegian Champion

Moyes may not have trophies to his name like MON and Deila did, but he sure as * will bring some home here with us.

O'Neil never even won the FA Cup I don't think.

Two Worthington cups? If we could go back in time folk on here would be against him as well no doubt.

Moyes is the best option and I'd struggle to be convinced otherwise.

I'd have him at Celtic in a heartbeat too.
My first choice would be MON and Keane though.

Moyes is a more realistic option than Rodgers, if either Moyes or Lennon got it then i would be more than happy, however the worrying thing would be whether the board has learnt from the past few years and will adapt a less frugal attitude to player recruitment.

I said earlier in this thread , Moyes does not need the money, so that is not coming into it.

Budget and free reign is his priority, he will get rid of JC and JK

And rightly so. They've added * all to the team.
At best, id demote JK back down to youths, and give him one more chance, years from now right enough.

I dont think JK deserves another chance, we have seen tho guy alright since his injury and in all honesty he has not done a good job in his role as coach of the first team, him and JC need to * right off and dont come back.
