It's on Hollywood Rd across from the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, just off the Fulham Rd.

I'd go for Mick McCarthy. He's steadily improved Ipswich without spending too much money and knows Celtic and Scottish football.

Can see the announcement being stage managed. Loads of rumours on new Manager. Last game of the season vs Motherwell. Ronny picks up the trophy, looks down the tunnel and out come Peter and ..........

I think you're right. They might sound out rodgers and moyes but I don't think they'll make them serious offers worth their while.

Doubt they'd go anywhere near some of the fancy names that have been floated about on here Bielsa/Schaaf/Yakin etc. They think we're all too * daft to appreciate it, and they'd have to get serious if they appointed a guy like that. Imagine John Park handing Bielsa a list of transfer targets. He'd use it for bog roll.

It's Lennon or Keane imo. They're familiar, attainable and they know what they're getting into.

For me, the ideal man should have:

    • Experience winning trophies
Can play good football but can also be pragmatic
Has proven to play youngsters and improve them
Has bought players for not much and sold high
Experience of navigating the Champions League qualifiers
Experience of doing well in the Champions League with underdogs
Experience of dealing woth the demands at a massive club

    That's ideal for me.

Apart from Martin O'Neill, who do you reckon that leaves? Bielsa? Trappatoni if he isn't retired?

Lenny, Bielsa, O'Neill is the only ones I can think of off the top of my head but we should be looking to fill as many of those as possible.

Well, Bielsa doesn't fit all of them either, guy just doesn't do pragmatic and it's * immense to watch :smiley-laughing002:

I'd easily get behind any of the 3.

Since Strachan's last season we haven't had a manager older than 50 :smiley-laughing002:

Surely Schaaf would tick a lot of the items on the list. And Hiddink. I'd go bonkers happy if Trapattoni came, though. I'm * tired of young managers being appointed. The ONLY exception would be Lenny.

*, forgot about Hiddink. Heavily linked in 2000 wasn't he?

Just looked and saw Trap is 77 now, Jesus.

Good shout. Would rather Warbles leads us to Champions League glory than doing it with Sevco.

Ultimately I'll be behind whoever takes over, at the beginning at least.

I do have my preferences though.
