    You're so pedantic :smiley-laughing002:

OK, he's a step backwards (in time), but he is a step forward (in quality).

    That's your opinion. Isn't mine.

Going by the reaction on Social Media I'm in the vast majority by not wanting Lenny back as Manager.

But what's changed since he decided he didn't want to manage the club he loves in a competitive league

I don't want Lenny back tbh. I think people are forgetting how stale things got in his last season.

I can't understand why anyone wouldn't believe Lennon is an improvement on Deila.

He made us better when he arrived, and we have been worse since he left. Obviously there are other circumstances that may come into it but it paints a pretty clear picture of the job he did.

    Totally agree..

Don't want Lenny back.. We need fresh and experienced ideas! Moyes would be thorough and demand control of the footballing side of the club!

He is the standout candidate imo!

Out of that betting list I would take a fair few to be honest.

    Moyes
    Lennon
    Rodgers
    Michael O Neil
    Martin O Neil
    McCarthy
    Laudraup
    Yakin
    Garcia
    Strachan

Would take any of those names in a heartbeat to be honest

What would people say to Moyes as DoF and Lenny as the actual manager?

Has to be Moyes or Rodgers. With the latter my preference.

Or a big(ish) name from abroad.

My only concern with Moyes is that his teams aren't exactly exciting.

I think people forget that we set a clean sheet record with Efe Ambrose in defence and only lost 1 League game all season. We dished out a number of thrashings that year, too.

Poor European and domestic cup campaigns maybe cast a small cloud over that season, though.

Lennon was desperate to manage in England thought bolton would be a stepping stone, he is unemployed so obviously he is interested, Jose is on the broo you dont see him asking to be considered

I wouldnt mind Lennon coming back as long as he gets full control of everything a manger should control and part of the agreement should be the removal of Lawwell

If that logic worked we should have been clambering over ourselves to bring O'Neill back after Strachan.

    Circumstances are everything.

I think whatever club Moyes ends up, it will be as manager tbh.

I know, it was a bit of a strange season actually. Our points total was fantastic and as you say we set a clean sheet record but I remember a lot of boring football that season and quite a bit of discontent.
