I still think there is an agreement in place with Michael O'Neill and thats why Deila wasnt sacked, they are killing time until the Euro's are done

Bring in the OG MON, with lenny, Larsson & Mjallby as assistants :icon_mrgreen:

That would put bums on seats for sure.

Never gonna happen in a million years though.

It'll be Neil Lennon. The board will see him as a cheap but acceptable appointment.

Off that list, guys who shouldn't get the job...

    Keane
    Coyle
    Michael O'Neill
    Stubbs
    Larsson
    Lambert
    Mackay
    Collins
    McCarthy
    Giggs
    McGuinness
    Laudrup
    Di Canio
    McNamara
    Mjallby
    Petrescu
    Garcia
    Clarke
    Strachan
    Black
    Stark
    McClaren
    Evans
    Monk
    Jol
    Zola
    Sheringham

    That leaves

    Moyes
    Lennon
    Martin O'Neill
    Martinez
    Yakin
    Bilic
    Mourinho
    Ferguson

:smiley-laughing002: most if not all of them are unlikely.

That's a fairly depressing list. I think the vast majority of those would be dreadful appointments, including Rodgers and Martinez.

We seem to find ourselves in the same situation we had several years ago after Mowbray left. We need someone to come in and overhaul the playing squad and get some structure and consistency back. Lennon done a good job doing that back then, and is a good shout for doing it again.

Couldn't be unhappy with Moyes, can build a defensively strong side, should be able to have some attacking flare. Did a fantastic job at Everton, history seems to suggest he was treated badly at United, and maybe he's learnt something from Sociadad

Part of me is dying to witness the shitstorm that would ensue from all corners of the globe if we appointed Sir Alex Ferguson :smiley-laughing002:

Are you at the wind up? :56:

Going from one Manager to the previous one is the definition of a backwards step. Literally.

Never go back, always look forward.

    I don't understand Lennon's U turn
What's changed? I wouldn't take him back even though it wouldn't be a disaster if he did take over

If we need someone to come in and convey to some players just what it means to put on a Celtic shirt and to get that fight and fire back then it has to be Lennon. I have my reservations about Lennon but i think its what we need at the moment.

He wants to manage the club he loves in a competitive league.
