They were the first team that sprung to my mind as well. Arsenal wanted him at one point as well did they not?

Aye, Arsenal and Liverpool have been rumoured for a good few year..

He'd fit in with Arsenal's tightness and Wenger's..

No matter what the next guy has to be an ugly * whose sad face would turn milk, every time I see that picture of Deila looking gutted I find myself wanting him to stay and sort things out.

I want a manager who shows more passion than Ronnie at the side and isnt as much of a nice guy. I want us to never know when we are defeated and in keeping, to become hard to beat again.
We need a few leaders and winners, player wise also. Hopefully this attitude will breed throughout the team again.

Well I get that. Moyes just seems a perfect fit. Destroyed reputation, in need of rebuilding. For that, see Moyes; see Celtic.

Only potential worry is that he won nothing with Everton, nothing with United and nothing with the Spanish team he got the boot from. He's not exactly coming with a winner's record, if he does come. But that's the level we are at right now. We can't get a Jurgen Klopp... we need a manager with a damaged reputation that needs to prove himself. Moyes is that man. Brendan Rodgers is another, but with I feel less to prove.

Lennon, I wouldn't be upset if he returned, I liked Lenny and his Celtic team would NOT have lost on Sunday. For sure.

Anyone else linked, I am not sure I am with it to be honest.

I think of any of these guys were signed it would be a clear indication as any what the board want this club to be and where they want to go, which would be nowhere.

The press in Scotland would be wanting blood with appointments like di canio, signed he'd last till Xmas here

Thanks for your input in telling me that mentioning Bilic is pointless.

Yes there is no chance he would leave West Ham after the current successful season but I was merely outlining who I would of liked to see. It is not out with the realms of reality that Bilic could have been in the past or could be involved with Celtic at some stage in the future. If you look at his managerial record with Croatia, Locomotiv and Besiktas then he has hardly set the heather on fire especially towards the end of each reign, however this is not to say that his coaching philosophies haven't been noticed by the Celtic Hierarchy and that he wouldn't have been on the Celtic radar. If your argument is budget and ability to afford him then this is nonsense as we could easily facilitate his wage.

Regardless of all this... like I said, I would like Moyes. One thing I think is for sure is that the next manager will be an impressive NAME, the club and fans needs rejuvenated and I think the board realise this.

I'd like Rodgers personally. Likes to play football the proper way. Moyes utd was mind burning and boring and so was Everton.

Can't see it but as been said numerous times in this thread, I'd love to see Bielsa as the new manager. Highly unlikely though
