In all seriousness though, look at our past few management teams, they've hard strong characters as backroom team. Forgetting Mowbray, we had O'Neill with John Robertson and Steve Walford - both guys who were well respected, and Robertson could command the ears of any superstar. Strachan had Garry Pendrey - a bit of a feared man by all accounts. Lennon had Mjallby - a very, very commanding figure.

Ronny has John Collins - very unliked in many areas, and John Kennedy who i have absolutely NO idea what he brings to our club?

If we're gonna appoint some cheap * manager, they'd need a ball-booter. Arise Chris Sutton..........

Jurgen Klopp actually admits his assistant is the brains to his management style and tactics
They play a vital role not allowing Ronny to pick his own was a massive mistake and it displayed early on that the club didn't trust him.

    Lenny, Larsson and Sutton.

Lenny runs the football operation ala Martin and The King and Sutty on the training ground.

Those are the kind of names we need. Moyes or Laudrup preferably. However we will end up with something different and alot less inspiring, I feel it's inevitable.

Larsson wouldn't come as an assistant, unfortunately.

Perhaps now in hindsight Ronny's views would have been a great addition to Lennon's staff - allowing Neil to concentrate on the basic fundamentals of football coaching (which Ronny clearly hasn't got) and give Ronny the platform to tweak our team with fitness etc.

That being said, if your manager is gonna be a guy with a shrewd philosophic approach i.e. O'Neill, Klopp etc, then you need his backroom staff to be the ones who do the barking, the relentless work on the training field amongst other things - Collins and Kennedy have neither the mental aptitude, nor any ounce of command in their bodies - hence the brutal scenes on the touchline at any given match where both are sat on their arses on the dugout doing sweet * all :38:

If we are gonna go down the ex-Celt route, Larsson with Sutton behind him and big John Hartson would be what I would want.

Larsson and Sutton had a telepathic understanding on the football pitch and would make a great coaching team.

Bg Chris has done enough talking, I'd be very, very interested to see if he could walk the walk as well as he talks.

Plus, he wouldn't miss any of the * bottlers in that dressing room of ours :47::47::47:

Big Sutton would be hilarious with the media :56: sadly I think he's happy with his pundits gig

I'd love that trio to work out but chucking together a few heroes from our past wouldn't guarantee success.

I mean, how is Larsson even getting on over in Sweden? Last time I checked they weren't near the top of the table.

Sutton and Hartson speak their minds off the park but I could see them struggling when they themselves are actually in the hotseat. Sutton's only experience of coaching was a disaster at Lincoln.

Would love someone like Laudrup with Wieghorst as his assistant but we'll probably end up wi Owen Coyle or someone of a similar stature.

Getting all these Norwegians Deila has in tow out of Glasgow will be like a scene from The Calais customs trying to fight off migrant refugees

Just look at the influence that Henrik had upon the Celtic players that one or two days he came here to help out in training - think it was last week - pretty sure the players said the were over-awed with his input. He'd be an instant hit, but he is a pretty quiet guy so he'd need his bouncers behind him and Sutton and Hartson would be * ideal.

We need Hunskelpers on board for next season, and who better!

Eyal Berkovic with John Hartson as assistant manager. What could possibly go wrong?

As I say I'd love it but I'm unsure.

I don't think the time is right for Larsson. He'll be here one day, for sure. Just checked and Larsson is apparently under pressure over there.
