He left Sunderland better off than a lot of managers managed to do after him. When he took over them they were bottom of the championship. After he took over them, the fans came back through the gates.

His worse spell was at Ipswich where he signed many of the same players whi won him promotion with Sunderland.
MON cant speak highly enough of him at the moment and you can guarentee he wouldnt allow for some of the spineless performances we have seen in the last two seasons

Biggest myth going that Keane 'wouldn't stand for ...' Same for Lenny.

They both stood for plenty * at Ipswich and Bolton respectively.

Keane would have a meltdown and leave us mid-season he's not one too trust for a long reign

What * was that? And what would you have expected them both to do?

The only argument for Keane is he, 'won't stand for any *', as if that trait alone will make him a success here.

It also makes him a liability.

Weird...I just turned on Fantasy Football Club on Sky there and it was Michael O'Neil on it. Was just coming on to say I reckon' he is the replacement.

I think it'll be him or Keane.

Can't say I'd be excited about either of them.

Don't like him. Made my feelings known on him before. Seems another yes man. Was happy to stab our player's in the back when he was on Sky a year ago at Tannadice and has no record to suggest he has anything to manage a club our size, day to day..

Michael O'Neill? Nah. Not that he's expected to do any better, but hasn't he won something like 9 out of 40 with the Occupied Six? Just don't want him, no better than Ronny.

Wouldn't be opposed to Roy Keane. *, for the sake of a bit of buzz I wouldn't be opposed to Henrik Larsson taking the job. Sometimes a person and a club are just a right fit. Neil Lennon was fantastic at us, but I can't see him being a success elsewhere. He just fit. Maybe Henrik (as a manager) would be the same.

O'Neill is a step down from Ronny still, in my opinion..

We have to be at least aiming bigger..

Michael O'Neill? That'd be quite underwhelming. Not even sure how to rate him, I mean O6's group was ridiculously easy. Beating Hungary, Romania and Greece doesn't all of a sudden make you a top manager.

I don't want him but I have a gut feeling it will be him sadly.
