The board have make as complete mess of things. Ronnie had at LEAST a season too long and a lot of time has been wasted where we could have tried out another less experienced coach. If we stumble over line making it 5 in a row, we have to think of somebody reliable to fend off the challenges of Aberdeen, Hearts and Sevco who may all improve their squads during the summer.

If I wasn't a massive Scotland fan I'd love to have WGS back but I am, so I'm thinking Neil Lennon to bring the good feel back to the club for the challenge ahead which the target is naturally 10 in a row.

Not negative but certainly 'direct' football.

Please do and schedule it for the same time as our next league game as it would be both more entertaining and less painful than watching us.

I think people confuse being direct with being defensive. We didn't play like Barca under O'Neill but we got the ball into dangerous areas quickly and effectively and scored a * load of goals in doing so. Football doesn't have to be tippy tappy possession stuff to be considered attacking.

His team was physical no doubt but we had creativity and dynamite down the wings. I dont know what you mean by direct yes we tried to score with every attack and quickly too. None of this possession bullshit that people mistake for attacking football because it's fashionable.

With direct, I mean we played more high balls up the park to the big guys. Nothing wrong with it, just a fact that the football was different. I'm not suggesting it was more dull to watch, just different.

Have a look at Larsson's wonder goal in the 6-2 match for example. Long ball to Sutton. There was loads of that.

I'm guessing you listen to our games on the wireless these days because you seem to be missing us pumping it long to a 5 foot 7 striker who is up on his own.

    Not entirely.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...t-bromwich-albion-in-the-summer-a6889201.html

I don't argue, The English Premier League is by far a more attractive proposition. Pulis has done the rounds with 3 clubs down there and seems to have hit a glass ceiling in terms of the type of club he can get.

He wouldn't be a long-term solution. But he could certainly steady the ship and whip the team into shape. If you don't work hard, you're gone.

I know Pulis has negative connotations, but his Palace side was very good defensively and rapid on the break. He isn't always a long-ball merchant. He finds a way to get the best out of what he has.

I prefer playing direct and winning to passing round the back and drawing.

The same Rangers team that won titles and made the UEFA Cup final?

    Definitely some parallels.

It's a more realistic suggestion than Moyes/Rodgers, and it's more appealing to me than Stubbs/Hartley/Hughes.
The guy obviously isn't everyones cup of tea, but his teams are incredibly well organised defensively, work really hard for each other and can mix it up physically.

Anyone know any managers who'd be happy to take less than six grand a week and as much stress as he can handle?

    I don't.

Is big arry's health alright or is that naw a bit dodgy?

Wouldn't mind that but does he naw commute from Southampton or somewhere like that.

Would rather big Joe Jordan than most of the names mentioned wouldn't take any crap but has never been the main man
