Michael O'Neill is a good manager for a mid-table team for underdogs, defensive football and punt it up front to a big guy. No thanks. Also look how long it's taken him to do anything with N.Ireland.

I'd hope we do our best to get Strachan back, he's the best we could realistically get, there's no chance that moyes, Rodgers etc would take the job.

I'd love Strachan back but I suspect he's happy where he is and he'd probably tell us to give Mark McGhee a shout anyways.

    And Jo-Jo...Dr Jo? :97:

    * depressing looking at the names that are favourites to get the job if Ronny gets the boot.

john hughes our old centre back with maybe paul hartley and macnamara as coaches

what you would get is guys that know scotland the media and scottish style of play and mentality

longer term i and everyone else would like someone that can build a team capable of competing in europe

we look to have went backwards in a big way under ronnie and the chop and changing of the team lately is also a bad sign that the manager is panicking

hes got to go but we have to get people in that can get the players behind them to get this title over the line and maybe add the scottish cup

this team are gonna lose the league and the cup because they cant work with ronnie anymore, it's done and dusted weve got these 2 trophies and champions league qualification up for grabs and at stake if we dont get shot of him now

nah * that remember manu and he didnt last long at sociedad

hes a decent man if given time but i dont like his football and the players we have are decent i cant be annoyed with getting rid of a whole new team just because the manager wants to build his own team

these players are capable of so much more and i dont think really any of them are bad players its just that they have no faith in the manager or coaching staff and its been going on a helluva long time until they just can't fake it anymore

I personally would have Moyes but there is very little chance of us getting him with how our board operate.

I think the players would respect his experience and would we would be like a new team.

Strachan should be brought in NOW to oversee winning the league, * the SFA the * have short memories if they had anything to say, we let Big Jock help them out on a part time basis in the past

Strachan in for a year with Yogi his assistant looking to take over after the year. But Scotland WC qualifiers start September this year and I really can't see Strachan wanting to do both or leaving Scotland anytime soon.

We really should of brought in an experienced manager with Ronny as his assistant, he'd be a cracking assistant and no pressure on him then also would of learnt how big the club was and what is expected to be able to step up a few years down the line with experience under his belt.

I'm thinking wrong here? Thought he's been there for a while and had a good few * qualifiers, not taking away from what he's done getting them to the Euros that is some achievement.
He's not the level of manager we should be looking at anyway.

Not to mention I think Scotland would have qualified from the group they got, they will get battered at the Euros.
