There was serious concerns asked about Lennon until the last 16 season by many weather they admit it or not.

I was against Lennon getting appointed as he was a rookie but he won me over after signing Commons. Not because of Commons impact as a player but how Lennon jigged his team and put Brown on the right and Commons high on the left in that inverted 442 formation. Lennon was superb tactically he really was.

Right after the Motherwell game at home last day of the season, when the whole of Celtic Park rose to acclaim a man who had been put through the wringer and you posted that.

Man, there is so many things I wish I could say to you just now but I wont. I think everyone can look at that post and see what you are all about.

I was against Lenny getting appointed too, but he proved me wrong.
I love to be proved wrong. I wanted Levein, but like I said I got laughed out of court because of Levein's one mistake with Scotland, they conveniently forgot about Levein's past successes with Dundee United and down in England. Now Levein is the mastermind behind Robbie Neilsen at Hearts.

I thought a similar stroke of genius was setting out a 4-4-1 formation in the Champions League then sticking his wildcard (Samaras) out wide left as the 11th man. It meant that we had a structure that Samaras wasn't going to break defensively. We basically played with a left midfielder (Mulgrew) who was narrow with a winger in front.

Think he got these ideas from guys like MON and Strachan. Thompson and Agathe in a lopsided 3-5-2 springs to mind. As does having Jarosik as a wide left out ball.

Also perhaps (bracing myself here), Walter Smith who had McCulloch high up the park on the left for Scotland but Brown more withdrawn on the right

Not after that Motherwell game last day of the season, after the bombs and bullets.

Everyone was united that day in a cause greater than football.

Yet Venglos decided it was a good time to tell us he was "annoyed at the free ride Lenny is getting".

    Annoyed eh?

It is theoretically possible, But it is like Gravitational Waves. It's going to take a million years before it happens. And we will all be six feet under the grun pushing up daisies by that time.
