McLeish got Rangers into the Last 16 of the Champions League against Villarreal, only got beat on goal difference.

    There is your evidence.

If its a choice of Deila or McLeish ? Definitely McLeish.

That was 10 years ago when both Celtic and Rangers were filled with far more quality than they are now. :smiley-laughing002:

Also they got beat on away goals not "goal difference".

I'm sorry but "he got into the last 16" with a fairly decent Rangers side 10 years ago, ignoring that's been an utter failure in every way since then, as your only argument then it does nothing to convince me.

It's hard to think of anyone. I've just skipped the Epl for obvious reason's and wouldn't take anyone in the lower league's that are a good age, play the right way and could handle us. Guy's like Justin Edinburgh at Gillingham have done excellent and are standouts but better than Ronny? Nah..

No one in Scotland is good enough long term and across Europe all the best up and comings seem to be snapped up..

It's alright kidding and swanking. But next year is going to be a roaster with Rangers and Hibs back up and the Champions League, that is if we win the league.

We need to get this sorted out.

I never suggested McLeish, I am only pointing out he is not as bad as some are making out, and apparently he is leaving Genk at the end of the season.

My first choice remains Steve Clarke. I really do wish we had Clarke in now.

This entity of Rangers have never played in the same league as us.

    Just saying.

Yip the very one. Assistant means * all when it comes to being the número uno tbh. One managerial post & one sacking & that's what I'll be judging him on. Phil Neville assistant coach at Valencia, coach at Man Utd doesn't mean I want him as our manager.

Steve Clarke has managed two clubs since he's been in management lasted just over a year at WBA before being sacked and it was a similar story with Reading.

Yet another name who'll definitely do better than Ronny though.

I'm serious, the suggestions in here are getting stupid now. Luckily we're nowhere close to parting with Ronny anyways so.....

Again in the EPL, and again another manager who was sacked prematurely at Reading ( Clarke). And again you are overlooking their previous successes and dwelling on the negative.

You are not looking for a manager, you are looking for a miracle worker.
Clarke would be infinitely better than Deila.Safe pair of hands is what we need for the league run in and Champions League qualifiers.

I am seriously worried about this league.

How is he a safe pair of hands? He's only had two managerial jobs and failed at both. :smiley-laughing002:

I'm only dwelling on the negatives because there're no positives to appointing Steve Clarke due to their being ZERO evidence based on his past managerial experience, that he'll do well as our manager.

It seems like you come up with a new nonsense name every day in the hope that eventually one of your suggestions will be taken seriously.
