Regardless of who we want I think the board will still go for the manger who is more about Youth development rather then someone who's tactically better

He was 1/2 with certain bookies yesterday but I think they were just covering their *'s after a Twitter rumour or they were cashing in as they knew there was no chance

If the board had any semblance of ambition they'd go for Rogers. Sadly they don't so we're likely to give it to a Paul Hartley or some similarly uninspiring candidate.

I still hold out hope that when this debacle is all over, we will have a manager come in and have us performing well again, domestically and in Europe. Hope is a strong emotion.

The board needs to invest in players. Keane, Moyes or Henrik for me, but who ever it is, not investing in the Club when we were in the Champs league has caught us out. Think of beating Barce that night and then under investment and players not being replaced has cost us.

You and me both, however I feel the next manager will be hamstrung by the same inadequacies of our club. An unambitious, self-serving, dividend-driven board. A scouting network who are failing at every turn to find a striker able to cut it in the SPFL. An academy system that has more spent on it than some SPFL clubs spend entirely yet returns very little comparative to investment.

It's grim viewing. We should be lightyears ahead of all Scottish clubs; it's down to mismanagement on a monumental scale that we're not.

    Keane or Henrik :99:

Now more than ever we need a manager in on the grounds of his managerial C.V. not sentimentality

Moyes or Rodgers would be the ideal candidates for me.

Don't think we will get either though.

I can actually see us ending up with a Nigel Pearson type, which I'm not keen on.

    I'd take Moyes.

Henke maybe in time, yes, but not now.

As for Keane, no chance, he is up there with Deila and Gary Neville as useless * in the dugout.

And no return for Lenny please, had his time, thanks for everything was good to a point.

Alan Stubbs? I know they are in the championship but 1 defeat in 24 games isn't bad, he has hibs playing great football and could still potentially do the treble.

    In future, possibly.

    Now, not what we need.

I know every appointment is a gamble. But I think now we need to make it a calculated gamble, ie. minimise the risk of failure with a manager with a wealth of experience. There's plenty out there looking for jobs - many with affiliations to Celtic - I don't see why it's outwith us to be ambitious.

WGS. We need someone who can motivate the guys, sort out the tactics, sort out those who should be playing from those who shouldn't and get us ready in time for the CL Qualifiers......not the Europa Qualifiers.
