I doubt Ronny will start either of the new signings. Throwing an 18 year old into our biggest game of the league season?

Buzzing for this also. But let's be honest, we all know the team sheet. Griff up top, himself, johansen playing, and stretch out on the left :54:

This for me comes down to fitness, time and balance of the team, if the new players brought in are fit enough to start then they should, we should go 4-4-1-1 with Boyata and Erik as CB's, Tearney and Lustig at fullback with Brown and Bitton CM, Roberts and GMS RW/LW, Kazim-Richards, Griff interchanging.

Brown gives the team drive and should start even if it's for an hour then change with Johansen who can use his energy to keep the momentum going, if needed I would then swap out Roberts for forest and Kazim-Richards for Armstrong providing Rogic is still injured.

    Gordon
    Lustig, Boyata, Erik, Tearney,
    Roberts, Brown, Bitton, GMS,
    Kazim-Richards,
    Griffiths,

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Sviatchenko Tierney

    Brown Bitton

    Roberts Rogic Forrest

    Griffiths

Mcgregor in for Rogic if he isn't fit, Forrest and Roberts could cause all sorts of problems with them ideally looking to double up on both of them.

Is Cole injured? If not, I would love to see him and Griff up front. As JC Said Wee MC Gregor deserves his place in the team. Forward thinking and attacking!

Can't see any of the new guys starting.

I'd actually be surprised if they made an appearance at all.

Had a wee gander on a couple of sheep forums, they seem to be sweating over where consadine will start and fearing a left back birth for him, also they're debating whether ambrose is banned or not and whether McInnes is going to appeal his ban in time.

Efe had a stormer against, an albeit weaker team in, Utd. If he starts I'll be right behind him! If ever a player needed our support right now it's the big guy!

He was barely tested against the tangerines, mate.

This is a completely different scenario, Aberdeen will target him and chuck everything at us early on.

It's not exactly a greater reassurance having Boyata in there however I think he's better in the air and stronger.

Should be a good game, Aberdeen are by far the most difficult team for us to play domestically, Hayes and McGinn two fast players who are good on the counter and they put in a lot of good crosses for Rooney whos very good in the air and seems to have about 3/4 efforts at our goal every time we play them with the head.

We need to dominate possession and get * into them, they usually put the boot into us aswell.

With Ambrose I find that difficult, I'm afraid.

Efe will have Rooney in his back pocket if Ronny gives him the chance. He'll use Sunday's disappointment as fuel to turn in a Baresi-esque performance of stylish and composed defending. :icon_mrgreen:
