He done majority of the running in the middle of the park for us, one of the only ones that stepped up I thought, he tired just like the rest of players not surprising especially being outnumbered in the middle.

If both Johansen and Armstrong avoid the axe after their gutless showings on Sunday then it will make you wonder what they need to do to be dropped.

I wouldn't introduce any of the two new signings. From the bench maybe. Armstrong needs booted, not even a place on the bench for me. I would go with:

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Sviatchenko Tierney
    Brown Bitton
    GMS Rogic Forrest
    Griffiths

If Rogic isn't fit then Johansen in behind the striker. Could have Roberts/CKR/McGregor coming on as attacking subs.

And by 'busting his balls' you mean leaving a man unmarked at the back post for a free header.

Badly need the players to step up for this one. Defeat would be a * sickener after what happened on Sunday.

Assuming Commons is back - I'd have this team:

    Gordon

    Lustig
    Boyata
    Sviatchenko
    Tierney

    Brown
    Bitton

    Commons
    McGregor
    Forrest

    Griffiths

Subs: Bailly, Ambrose, Izaguirre, Johansen, Armstrong, Mackay-Steven, Cole

    0-2 Celtic.

Johansen was trying to take the game to them and put them under pressure, can't fault that effort but he wasn't particularly succesful at it and he tried to get himself sent off at the end IMO.

    I'd play:

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Sviatchenko Tierney

    Brown Bitton

    GMS Commons Forrest

    Griffiths

Commons always takes a couple of games to blow off the cobwebs after an injury or break. I don't think it'd wise to start him for this one. If we're looking for a bit of magic in the 2nd half I'd bring him on.

I wouldn't be throwing Commons right in. He won't be fit, and he usually takes a few weeks to get match sharpness back. Felt sorry for McGregor on Sunday. He played a great ball for the goal, and he has been one of our best players in recent weeks. I would have him starting ahead of Commons all things considered.

New signings unlikely to feature, no commons, no ambrose, no simunovic.

But he does like a goal against Aberdeen and is always likely to get one. I'd rather he'd be on, even if he is a bit rusty.

He signalled to the bench even before the sending off, commentators pointed it out.

Whatever the lineup, we need a performance and preferably do this mob over. Said it before but discipline will be massive. We don't seem very good at coping with niggle these days.

    Can't wait for this.
