Will Deila be backed in January?

I think that depends on how many players of the quality we require are available and willing to come to us in January.

I wouldn't give him a penny to spend in January. If he can't get better performances out of this squad of players against Scottish Premiership opposition then we shouldn't be handing him more money to spend, we should be handing him his P45.

Half way through the transfer window, no players in and most frequently linked players Man City youth who we have no chance of securing on a permanent deal...

In an ideal world we would get a couple of quality additions in the areas we need them who we give the rest of the season to gel with the squad ahead of the qualifiers and win the league as early as possible with some style and raise fan morale while doing so. In reality we will maybe get John Souttar on a pre contract, a loan which won't benefit us long term and be told Griffiths' and Bittons' new contracts, Christie joining up and not selling any key players and also managing to offload Stokes on loan to free up wages is a successful window.

 

We need 3:
A proper DM- someone that will protect the the central defenders when the fullbacks bomb on.
A real winger- someone that will run a people & create space.
A striker- someone to partner with Griff long term.

Need to move on so much deadwood first though........

 

The board will back fuking nae *, as long as us fans back him thats what matters, thats what gives Celtic its strength its fans. I believe in the universe and the law of attraction if we all get behind him and the team then the magic will happen.

 

The less money Lawell spends on players this january, the more money he has to blow on Cocaine and Ferraris. The * living the American dream on Celtic dollar. And we are standing for this *.

 

McGeady is the big one, his magic out wide could be the difference in the qualifiers. I think in terms of the rest of the first team, I don't think Ronny will want to change overly much anyways. Maybe a few young additions to add to the squad.

 

Yeah you're probably right. Can't risk Griffiths getting an injury and going into the qualifiers relying on Ciftci to do the business, or even to come off the bench when we need a goal.

 

It's an important window, every season we say it.. But we're short in a couple of vital areas..

DM, CB and ST and possibly a winger..

 

Well will get short changed in janaury so that Lawell * can pay afv his coke bill.

 

My only fear is that after that performance, not so much...
