Belgium have hit top form the last few games, and rightly odds on favourite. Be a tough game though.

    3 -1 Belgium

Bale had hardly been scintillating. Yes, he's scored goals and goals win games but he hasn't shone for me. It has been the team as a whole that have done it and sometimes just grinding out the win.

Think Belgium have loosened up now and will beat them. Thinking 3-1.

He was * outstanding against Russia, along with Allen, Ramsay and Ledley.

Anyway, I have a fiver on Bale anytime, Belgium winning. So lets hope for that.

If Hazard puts in half the showing he did against the Hungarian's, then Gunter and Wales are in for a torrid time..

The Belgians will be out for a bit of revenge and to make a statement here in this tournament, as Wales have more than troubled them previously..

It depends what Belgium team turns up. If Belgium play well I can't see Wales getting a result.

Vertonghen getting injured is another big blow for Belgium's defence. I wonder who will play..

    • Backline could be something like: Lukaku - Kabasele/Ciman/Denayer - Alderweireld - Meunier
    • While it should have been: Alderweireld - Kompany - Vermaelen - Vertonghen

Hugh difference and definitely opportunities there for Wales.

They didn't look much better against N.I. either, it was a pretty torpid display from them I thought. And qualifying doesn't really mean anything at this stage, it's current form I am looking at and Belgium seem to be coming good at the right time.

It's not like Poland and Croatia were playing beautifully against us either.

Euro 2000 - arguably the best football in the competition, lost to France in the semis with a penalty in the end of extra time (Zidane, 117').
Euro 2004 - second best football to Czech Republic (great team that), lost the final to Greece, who had eliminated Czech Republic in the semis
Euro 2008 - quarter finals, lost 3-2 to Germany.
Euro 2012 - semi finals, lost in penalties to Spain, the best team in the world by far.

Our Euro campaigns already deserve a Cup, both for football and consistency (1 quarter, 3 semis including this one and 1 final since 2000), so I believe Europe would survive if we actually won something playing in defense, after losing so many times while playing fantastically (especially in 2000).

I'm all for offensive football, but we're in the semis and on fair terms (yesterday Cristiano even suffered a clear penalty, not given). I don't really get the hate, to be honest. Maybe it's the Cristiano effect.

And I don't think we'll actually win it. We're depending too much on Pepe and Renato Sanches performances and our key player isn't adding as much as every portuguese would hope.

I noticed you brought some player's like Fonte, Silva in yesterday as well as Sanches now starting to get a run. Has that been deliberate, in that you've pretty much banked on qualifying and are now bringing some fresh, quality legs in..

Thought you looked quite good last night, and dominant..

I don't hate Portugal, but this team has been dire to watch. If you were playing good, exciting football I'd be more than happy for you to go through and win it, but it's been a chore watching draw after draw after draw with you this tournament so, as far as I'm concerned, you have to go.

Honestly it's not even just this competition , I remember saying to my mate before a ball had been kicked I don't think I've ever seen an exciting Portragal game.

But to be fair to them , this Euros in general has been pretty boring.

Really want Wales to get it done . They will have to play like they did v Russia or they will get pumped.

I'd love to see Wales do it, but think Belgium will be too strong tbh.

Only Portuguese player I like watching at the moment is Renato Sanches tbh.

Even then its the novelty factor, he's new and an up and coming star that Bayern have just blew loads of money on.

I'm here... Bricking it. Feel like I did before the 2003 Porto match..

Tbh, I'm happy they have got this far but of course it would be fantastic if their journey could continue.
My son is out there, he's been at all the games, & he is loving it.
