    France-Switzerland was dire. * pitch, * ball, * shirts, * attitudes.

Well in Albania though, I'd like to see them go through. Genuine passion for their country.

If that Payet volley had been 2 inches lower that was a goal worthy of winning any game!

Still think France will be there or thereabouts when all is said and done.

Surprised Payet didn't start the game.

Will be more interesting in the Knockouts were there will be more pressure and teams need to win.

So far all teams seem to have just coasted through games and not looked too worried about winning as long as they werent losing.

Never mind Lenny, Danny Murphy says he's not the type to tackle and get in your face.

The 23 year old with over 30 yellow cards and 5 reds. The * whalloper :52:

Have to say I've been unimpressed by France. I don't see why people have them as favourites. Been uninspiring in a poor group. Defensively they haven't been tested but still look ropey. For me a lot of problems have been glossed over by winning the games in the manner they have done.

I agree with Henry when he said that Deschamps doesn't seem to know his best team.

They've struggled to find the right combination going forward.

Is there a clear fav for the tournament so far ?

I think it's pretty open tbh, maybe 3 or 4 who could win it.

Home side, qualified top without hitting top gear and have the player of the tournament so far in Payet.

    They'll get better.

I had a pre tournament bet on both Italy and Spain, as they both seemed o have the best defences in the competition. Both have won their opening games without conceding a goal.

Germany are as good as qualified without conceding, and France are through without conceding a goal from open play.

The outside chance teams are probably England, Portugal, Croatia and Belgium. They all have the talent to do well, but they all certainly have their flaws.
