Was at football so missed the 2nd half of Switzerland and only just watched the last 10 of this. Can see a few '* game' comments, so I'm guessing it's another case of one team sitting in and the other struggling to break them down?

Nice to see my 1-1 bet came in earlier :50:

That's brilliant :smiley-laughing002: Just in front of Dier :52:

But with Martial out wide they look like they're playing 1 up front against Albania when it should be 4 3 3 considering they've got Coman on the other wing. The definitely need another guy up beside Giroud because Albania have them sussed, all they have to do is defend deep and the French are running out of ideas. On their home turf too.

France look like they can't be arsed, slow play with no purpose. Actually reminds me of us last season.

Hope Albania nick a goal, they deserve it. Lot of spirit in the team.

Ive enjoyed most of the games. One theme so far has been unfancied teams doing better than expected which is always good. Iceland v Portugal last night wasn't the prettiest football match ever but Iceland competed so well. Austria v Hungary was good too among others, imo.

It's been a strange tournament so far, I wouldn't say all the games have been boring but they've all sort of followed the same pattern. One team has taken the game to the other team but have struggled to score and secure the result.

Having the 3rd team able to qualify really hasn't helped the tournament. Too many teams happy to play for a clean sheet and hope they can nick something/

The underdog teams who play to spoil games seem to love playing against 4-2-3-1.

Got to agree with this, jt means every game matters now, but as you say more negatives than positives.

Bilic is a very entertaining pundit.

Really knows his stuff, is charismatic and he * loves Dmitri Payet.

The only team I've enjoyed watching in terms of attractive football, is Croatia.

Germany were average, Spain were average, Italy were good but boring, France have been *, England were alright but had nothing going forward and so on...

Every game is just so tight, it makes for boring viewing most of the time. Severe lack of free flowing, exciting football.

Without getting off topic I don't think it was our formation that was our problem, it was motivation. We played the same formation the whole season and we had some great games and some bad games. Apart from the European games we were good in. We were more defensive against Ajax but Fener at home we seemed to control the game with verve. I don't know what formations we played in those games. Anyway sorry for getting off topic. (hope someone can briefly reply though).

Too many teams at the tournament, and too many going through to the knockouts.

Is having only one player at a kick off a new thing?

Just about to post that, the ball does not need to go forward from kick off now, so only one player needed for kick off, people get paid to make those decisions.

It's a change in the rules yeah. Ball no longer has to go forward :50:
