For a one off match I'd certainly go to watch a big game and soak up the atmosphere. But it sure as * wouldn't be an England game, and I certainly wouldn't be in the full Tartan Army get-up.

He plays for Stoke now, which should tell you have little he's progressed in recent years. Was seen as a huge talent a few years ago, just doesn't produce enough.
