Ronaldo was really poor last night. Both during the game, and in the way he reacted afterwards.

Yes, he's a fantastic player and he worked really hard to get...blah, blah, blah.

The will to win etc made him a worse person.

He is completely classless in defeat. One of a number of reasons why he'll never be universally lauded such as Messi or Iniesta.

I watched his 'documentary' last week, and it practically confirmed everything you see on the pitch, not an ounce of humility.

And the situation with his son is odd.

Speaking of Iniesta, he is still an absolute joy to watch.

Given my man love post last night, no way I can defend his behaviour following the match.

    Poor show.

He complains about Iceland celebrating while every time he scores he expects all to laud him

He is a total * of a man. In 20 years' time, people will probably laugh that there was a debate between him and Messi, anyway.

Pogba dropped? I don't think he was bad enough to merit being dropped!

No chance. His record will stand the test of time, and people will remember the way he tormented defences in England and Spain - practically on his own at times.

People will also remember his lack of class, his super-size ego and his sheer petulance.

Ronaldo is a negative dressing room influence on any team he is in. No effort, no bond with his teammates...Portugal would be better off without him.

Whilst I'm not a massive fan of his, that is nonsense. Of course Portugal wouldn't be better off without him.

Just no. Whether you like him or not, Ronaldo carries Portugal. Take him out the side and they are just an average side with no firepower or fear factor.

Football is a team sport. Ronaldo is not a team player. There are dribbling competitions for single contestants, in Brazil. Nutmegs, bicycle dribbles... Let Ronaldo do it there.

Isn't that exactly what they are just now? :56:

He doesn't though he is a hindrance. Teams can't play like a team with him in it because everything has to go through him. It's a bit of a bizarre problem but the day he doesn't play for Madrid is the day they will get better all round.

Also lol at the 'jealousy' patter - of course we are, I'm * jealous of Lee Griffiths or anyone earning more than a £1k a week to play football and go to the gym.

Ronaldo is a footballing legend, no doubt about it.

But he is not a team player.

Pretty much sums it up. I'd take Suarez over him, personally.

Aye, at several occasions he complained because the ball wasn't passed to HIM. Ego, ego and more ego. Nevermind that he probably wasn't in the best position to make use of the ball.
