Look mate don't u get it. These terrorist actions in European countries are all our fault. The middle East again our fault. IS butchering people, our fault. We are an evil race of people us Europeans who should be ashamed of ourselves. We value money & the free market over everything else. We created these monsters on our doorstep & we should all look at killing ourselves or at least hating ourselves intensely. See when u wake up in this free country (its not actually free, ur a Costa coffee drinking, McDonald's eating mind puppet), roll ur * out of bed and read all the * happening in Paris. Do u know that it's all ur fault. :87:

Islam is not a race, and we can't wash over who Muhammad was we don't do it with Gengis Khan, most Muslims are peaceful but if you follow every Hadith and Quranic verse to word it's not peaceful. When I followed Islam I refused to follow some aspects of the faith which lead me to leave it as in it's purist form is not about peace or turning the other cheek, the old testament and parts of the Torah are also dangerous if followed to the word. Nawaz has a job to do he has to get Muslims on his side he does this by trying to appease them but he is hated by most Muslims because they can see right through him.

See stuff like this just cheapens what has otherwise been a very good thread.

Quite frankly, only a complete idiot couldn't see the link between our foreign policy and terrorist acts. We've had years of it now to establish a link and it's clear as day. That isn't justifying terrorism, it's pointing out the blatantly obvious.

Islamic State have claimed responsibility then, citing they were a response to air strikes on their territory. My question is, how did ISIS get into Europe?

Saying on the news that one of the suicide bombers had a Syrian passport on him.

Does anyone believe that * really?

Why have these people, who are going out to kill themselves and others, take their * passport with them?

The West has a part to play in the spread of Islamism, not in the way many people think though.

Saddam's regime... Authoritarian, brutal even but secular. We got rid of him, what's Iraq like now? A haven for extremism and an ongoing sectarian war.

Gaddafi's regime... Authoritarian, brutal even but secular. We got rid of him, what's Libya like now? It's basically a failed state, different Islamic factions are fighting for control, including ISIS.

Assad's regime... You see what I'm getting at??? If we in the west are serious about defeating extremist Islam then it'd be a good idea to stop getting rid of the people who are at the forefront of fighting it!

ISIS have members and supporters in the form of radicalised European Muslims in every major city in Western Europe. Unfortuately you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube - they are here now settled behind enemy lines and we live in the constant fear of further attacks from fellow citizens .

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the hundreds of thousands of undocumented military age men who've came to Europe in the last few months...

Why? Why is this "everything to do with Islam" and why is anyone who points out the things which creates the conditions for these Islamist ideas to spread just an apologist?

If this was an Islam "thing" then we should be seeing the same thing everywhere from Albania to Indonesia. We should see a Wahhabi interpretation of Sharia enforced from Almaty to Conakry to Moroni, but we don't. We do see Islamism in a big way in the countries at the sharp end of war - Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Somalia etc. Not anywhere were a Muslim stays.

In reality people are more influenced by the society they live in rather than their religion. Religion is after all a human creation, and so is moulded by humans to fit their societies and "needs".

Dry your eyes Sean. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, yours is not the moral standard to which we all need to adhere.

No, you're not an idiot; but caricaturing an opposing position to score points does cheapen the debate. No one here was calling westerners an evil race or trying to draw links between drinking Costa Coffee and mindless conformism.
