    100+ dead in Paris.

    Horrific, shocking and * deplorable.

Millions dead all over the Middle East, barely a * ripple really.

What you'll find, is that Muslims are often the victims of terrorism, much more often than they are the perpetrators.

When was the last time we had a 43 page thread for the daily attacks that kill hundreds all over the Middle East?

    Spot on.

There are many atrocities going on around the world that we in the west are generally ignorant to, as it isn't reported as widely here.

I was meaning more the western world. There's a lot of things that happen in Africa and the middle east that should be reported but don't because they don't really affect europeans and americans.

Imagine like having a secret camera on the * that do this though to see what theyre actually doing and saying and how they are reacting.

Like the guy that made their suicide bomb vests is probably sitting in his house probably in Paris if not somewhere else in France or Europe atleast probably watching it all on TV.

Some absolute psychos cutting about, that guy will be walking the streets the morra with normal people like me and you none the wiser.

Out of sight, out of mind. It's too far away for most of us to give a *. It's a shame but it's also true.

    Indeed, Sir.

The unreported atrocities are sickening. The blame game is all so easy.

I'm just as guilty of anyone in not starting the thread but when do we bother about these people, the majority of whom never asked for this *?

Aye but it is more scary to think of it happening near you. Like how many people on here would consider going to Nigeria or Lebanon or Iraq or Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Libya even Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Turkey are probably seen as very dodgy now. Hardly any Americans or people from the UK etc would think of going near those places as we know what goes on in them.

So when it happens nearer us we think "* this could happen where im actually living"

Im aware of that also mate.....but in terms of terrorist acts carried out in the west, they arent.

I totally sympathise with every innocent victim in these * awful war torn countries, but its like a murder. You read about 10000 murders in the USA and dont bat an eyelid, but when you hear about one next door.....the world stops.Human nature.

Aye, you're right. You're always going to be more aware of things that happen closer to home.

That's nonsense. Anything significant happens in the US it gets posted on here and ends up a mulitiple page thread.

Daily car bombs, suicide bombs, executions, allied bombings and the like happens in the Middle East you are lucky it gets 5 posts in an existing thread.
