Paris...shootings and explosions

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by CH4, Nov 13, 2015.

  1. Well it certainly doesn't * help.

  2. one of the terrorists was about 20 years old

  3. It's a vicious circle as well. Don't do anything and people think the governments are surrendering to them and letting it happen, do something and it only gives the extremists the desire to do it again.

  4. They will, they always do, expect to hear the calls for more surveillance, justifying trident and war on terror.

  5. Makes it even sadder someone that young could be brainwashed into doing something so terrible

  6. Will people please stop posting twitter sources as * gospel.

    * me how stupid are you *?

  7. Haven't they released things on twitter and other social media before? I'm not saying they have released anything I just thought it was relevant.

  8. One of the attackers was 15 and got into the concert on false I'd.
Sorry I just made that up. But it just shows how easy it is to spread lies on the net.

  9. * didn't half do the * that charged towards the door

  10. I heard on Twitter that Isis have recruited Susan Boyle, Ronny Pickering and The Wealdstone Raider for their next attack.

  11. You can't just make up a hypothetical situation and then use it as an excuse for your own prejudices. If I asked you to imagine a world where the teletubbies were a hate group and everyone who watched the show went around killing people would you go straight onto the CBeebies website telling people they were a "problem" and a "cancer"? Of course you wouldn't, that's ridiculous.

Okay, I never said you couldn't. But judging by the hatred spewing out of your last post I'm going to assume you're not interested in a debate and you're actually only looking to rope people into your anti-islamic rhetoric off of the back of tonight's events.

If you think about it though, you're not that different from those terrorists in Paris. You both took advantage of a big event (them the football match, you the resulting atrocity) to attack vulnerable people (them the innocent people in Paris, you the innocent religious people) to pursue your own political agenda (them Islamic extremism, your anti-religion).

  12. true. facebook and twitter is mostly *

  13. We all know who was behind that one

  14. The vicious circle is the other way, mate. This kind of behaviour is not normal for human beings. Tragic though this is, it is obviously not unrelated to the equally evil and tragic things we are perpetrating in other parts of the world.

The first thing we have to do is stop making things worse. Then we need to get serious about justice.

We simply can't continue to perpetrate evil and expect not to have to suffer evil ourselves, it isn't realistic.

  15. According to Facebook Susan dreamed a dream of joining ISIS
