Hope most certainly not, ffs there's a reason he's been nominated for CEO of the year

No wonder, £1 out of £60 that is recieved in revenue goes to him regardless of performances while one diamentionally balancing books to pay dividents.

Thank * we have him. We should re-name our stadium 'The Lawwell Arena' where fans praise failure in the Boardroom.

Ah yes. What was that again? Oh aye, getting us into the CL. No...

Appointing the right manager? Doesn't look like it...

Not wasting our resources on a pile of third rate pish? Nope...

Ah that's right, the balance sheet. It's all about the balance sheet.

Who gives a * whether our team is competitive in Europe as long as the balance sheet is good.

He has presided over a shambles on the field for ages. As long as we have a black bottom line though... wooohooo

You are music to Lawwells ears.

I don't want us to go out and spend 12 million * quid on Tore Andre Flo. That is how they got into the mess they got in.

Jesus Christ, does everything have to always be so black and white.

His wage has never changed even though our managers, team, squad has gotten downgraded year on year for ages to the point where our CEO now earns more than our football manager and probably 80% of our individual football players.

There is something seriously wrong when someone keeps getting rewarded for continually slashing away at the one thing that he should be protecting the most.

Our resources do not empathise the Huns. The more you realise this the better. No doubt Lawwell will fire out a joke about the Huns for yous to keep the obedience in order :50:

Tell me how someone decimating our football team so much, to the point where we are missing out on 20 million a year and our crowds are dwindling year on year is doing a good job?

In what parallel universe is that doing a good job?

Will you please stop questioning the authority. Your critical analysis is making you less a Celtic supporter. Submit to Lawwell.

Mate you're the one making it black and white here. As if Lawwell leaving will completely change everything. Fact is Lawwell listens to the major shareholders so will the next CEO. Fact is someone went out and did a lot of scouting and then came back saying these players were all good enough for Celtic. It's an entire organisation of people thinking this way. Don't just all blame it on one guy. That's black and white.

    He employs these people.

That is why he gets paid £1m a year.

Do you think we pay him that much and then tell him what to do? :smiley-laughing002:

No he doesn't mate, how many people work at Celtic I don't know but suppose 1/2 thousand hundreds at least think Pete will be reading every one of those applicants thinking 'boy Jack here only has 4 years of experience the add clearly stated we wanted at least 6!!!' Course not theres other people that do that too. Reason he earns more than a million is cause Celtic is run as a company, what I think is wrong, but what CEO of a company this large doesn't?

What the * are you talking about? You keep moving the goalposts to suit your stance.

You were going on about scouts and the like being as much a problem as Lawwell and I pointed out that's him that employs these people.

Now you going on about, what? Pie sellers and the like?

Lawwell is up for some business award and therein lies the problem.

We are run as a business, not a football club.

There can 't be any other reason for the businessmen to keep getting rewarded, the shareholders keep getting dividends yet the football club is being gutted from the inside out.

I'm no trying to be funny or confrontational mate, but do you have any idea what Lawwell's actual job entails, and why exactly you think he does/doesn't deserve whatever wage he's on?

I personally haven't a clue, and therefore have no place saying he does/doesn't deserve his wage.

Dutch. He does employ these people through third parties. From Security to Scouts which have a infuctructure of micromanagement. John Park is Chief Scout appionted by Lawwell. Ronnie Hawthorn is head of Security appionted by the same people. Deila appionted by the same people. The players are indirectly bought from the Board when you account Mark Lawwell and Dudu Duhan on speedial. For you to say he doesn't is denying a reality.
