The problem was that he wasnt learning from his mistakes this time last year. What he done in Scotland came from the Ally McCoist school of management. It was the slowest car crash I ever seen and I have seen him survive before I actually expect him to cling on this time as well. We needed to get rid of him long ago.

I like him but I think his times up. He doesn't have the experience. Then again look at the calibre of players we're signing? Is it fair to lay all the blame at his door? Might he have been a better manager if we hadn't been penny pinching? Who knows but I hope he goes and I wish him every success wherever he ends up.

To be honest I don't see any better coming along as the club isn't going to change it's way of working and I think we've got a long long way to climb before we get anywhere near the kind of Celtic that we had all come to know and love. That wee boy Tierney was the only one who knew what that game was about tonight. The rest were imposters. In days gone by we had loads of lads like him waiting in the wings. Now we sign or take on loan people who aren't fit to wear the jersey.

The thing is, I honestly struggle to see any progress over the past 18 months. We were a soft touch in Europe in his first few games and we still are right now. At the current rate of progression it would take the best part of a decade to built us into a decent European team.

I actually thought he was on to something in the second half of last season but the team has gone so far backwards its unreal . Ripped apart our best central defence in a decade and replaced them with our worst. The board have to take responsibilty - freebies and loan deals to replace a 13 million quid rolls royce centreback ? No chance .

Ronny was the cheaper option we all knew that right from the start, We were told that he was a progressive modern day thinking coach with great ideas by Lawwell in the hope that he would get 100% backing by the supporters,He seems a decent guy but he is not cut out to be Celtic manager and should never have got the job in the first place,Lawwell spoke about other candidates before Deila was picked,it wouldn't be surprising if some of the candidates who applied for the job were in fact better experienced managers than Deila but Lawwell picked the cheapest option and its failed.

Out of 20 games in Europe, Ronny has won 4, drew 6 and lost 10. TEN. 18 points out of 60 possible. During his tenure we failed to beat every single team we werent heavy favourites against. It's not a knee * reaction after one bad result, actually the opposite is true: we are supposed to put with this just because of one victory against Aberdeen.

In this match itself might not have been his fault directly, but anyone that isn't a cheap unambitious coach like him wouldn't accept reinforcements like Blackett and a coaches like Kennedy and Collins.

There's no way he'd come back without certain promised being made to him. He left for good reason. Id love to have him back though.

Yes Ronny out, he is not the man to see us progress on the European stage.

Lennon was still making mistakes in his final season. See the Aberdeen Scottish Cup exit at Parkhead for example. Deila isn't learning from his mistakes either though.
