    once a bhoy always a bhoy . a hero of mine , was 10 when he joined and loved watching him play. was an EXCEPTIONAL player for us , scored alot of memorable long range goals. as well as being a tough tackler. the best midfielder in the spl during his tenure here no doubt . stan is a young strong man and will have a chance of a full recovery .     Not sure if i have emailed the correct person but i posted the request for the benefit match to Jane Maguire of the Celtic FC Charity fund. I am sure, if she isn't the correct person, the message would get to the right people.

    Maybe if enough Celtic supporters do this, they will consider the idea.
    It would also have the benefit of giving a match game against EPL opposition before starting CL football.

    Just looked on the Daily Ranker site and although some Rangers supporters have wished all the best for Stan's recovery, there have been 3 banned from posting and 1 basically saying " Wish you all the best even though you were a cheat".
    Scum like that are the ones who should have this disease NOT Stan.

    The thread they have on Rangers Media about Petrov is excellent and a credit to their club, and as much as I'd expect from us if the situation was reversed.

    They are rightly hounded for being * people when they misbehave, but they deserve full credit here for putting football to the side and wishing him all the best.

    I agree that there are some decent Rangers supporters and there are a few on the Daily Record site wishing him the best but is a little disappointing that there are some idiots making bad enough comments that they are banned from posting. Suppose every club has them. Well, except us, of course.

    Anyway lets support Stan and not talk about the scum. There is a different part of this site for that.

    All the best Stan and speedy recovery.
