Yeh, it really is madness. I honestly have no idea how Ambrose has lasted so long here, and how we have apparently turned down good money for him.

I agree with most of that except Park. Why would he leave?

Amazing banter mate. If Henderson has achieved as much as Johansen has at the same age Celtic will be absolutely over the moon.

    Seriously?

Of the permanant signings the only 2 that stand out as being completely * are Scep and Ciftci, the latter you have been the biggest cheerleader of on this forum for months.

I think Boyata is a Ronny signing through and through and I still think he can be grand if we change our system.

Balde I dunno about that one, its murky as *. Something with Pete and his Israeli mate.

Bangura was a Larrson tip was he not?

Like StPauli said, agreed with the first part, overall but can't really agree that supporting the manager as much as humanly, reasonably possible is equivalent to accepting mediocrity in Europe. Our big problem in Europe, since Ronnie came in, is in defence, other than that I'd argue we've been playing some of the best midfield and attacking football for years in Europe. But, there is that defence that needs sorted. It's frustrating but I believe we can fix it. When you get into the details of these situations more mitigating circumstances tend to turn up which is what we should be doing, being fair and saying "well our ideal defence hasn't gelled yet, cus Simunovic is fully fit yet" for example. It's frustrating but it is what it is. We will kick on. I have to believe that or I'd be depressed about us a lot, unnecessarily imo.

tip or no tip, park scouted him, lennon wanted diawara, but lawwell backed his mate and we ended up with the 2nd worst football player on the planet, but we actually managed to out do ourselves with Amido and signed the worst player on the planet

Fair enough. There has been plenty of successes as well though. There is plenty of men that id give the boot to at our club ahead of John Park.

Do things right in the world according to you, and everything's great...hmmm, OK.

No offense and I dont mean to insult you here but you would rather deal in fantasy and hope it comes good. If our fans are asleep at the wheel we will lose the 10. We cant put up with projects in our dugout and we should not put up with failure. And it is not the defenders that is the problem but the whole shape of the team. A lot of people could see this 16 months ago and assumed he would fix it. When it first occurred to me that he had no intention of fixing the shape I knew he was a dud. He is already finished.

Og, no joke, mate. Could you start illustrating your tactical critiques with these from now on? I mean, eh, it's good for helping us understand what your getting at...I'd love it if you did.

Even though you're taking the hand it is easy to explain:
    -Win the midfield battle.
-Protect the defense with a true holding player.
    -Width from overlapping fullbacks.
-A man in between the lines in the 10 position.
-Interplay between the strikers and the 10.

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Blackett Izzy

    Brown
    Bitton Armstrong
    Commons

    Griff Stokes

In Europe Forrest could play instead of Stokes with a small tweak. That change would solve most of our problems if we dropped our defensive line way back and managed our fullbacks better.

Kinda wanted him sacked after Thursday. Calmed down now, but may as well give him the Euro group, see if he can adapt another plan

Seriously, does ol' Pistol have your CV? If not, surely we're losing as a club with you not involved.

That's why they were loanees, that's a positive thing not a negative one. For every Boruc, Forster or Denayer there is a Tonev, Wakaso or Berget.

I hope Henderson is the POTY next season but he's got miles and miles to go.
