    Ronny will know if this guy is after 1 last pay day or he really wants it.
    For me this could be Cole thinking "Big pay day" I know Ronny is watching this side of what Cole might or not bring to Celtic. Ronny could have just did the deal but he wants to see what mood of a player he is signing. If Cole wants to finish his work with Celtic and is itching for Trophies, goals and a big name again? Ronny will see this and hear this from Cole... Smart play by Ronny on this one. Last thing we need is another dead journeyman on our wages

    Why couldn't have done this before the Europa League registration window? Strange one, he was there the whole time. Now we get a decent big lad up top and he can't play in Europe...

    Strange..But I would take him ONLY if he is wanting it big time..Not just one last pay day..

    It's a done deal, just needing signed.
    Ronny wants to see if Cole wants to win or a big fat final fee...
    Cole is wanting to see if he likes Glasgow...

    So I am told anyway..Don't ask me what the deal is. I would imagine this and next season at least.. We don't need this lad AT ALL for domestic football

    How do we not? He gives us a different option to what we have, a big guy who can win headers and hold the ball.

    Plus let's be honest, it isn't unlikely that Griffiths or Ciftci will get suspended for a game or two and the other could get injured.

    He's lovely guy, but past it a long time ago. If he decides he wants to play he can be useful but he can also just spend the entire game walking. Even if the ball is passed to him in a dangerous position he will often just stop with the ball, absolutely infuriating player to watch at times. If he is on low wages then fine but I don't even think he's good enough for Championship.

    Vlaar is a great shout but would of been on 30K or more at Villa, a championship team could afford that we can't so unless he's willing to take a pay cut can't see it happening unfortunately.

    Tierney will be cover for Izzy and Blackett plus Lustig, Ambrose and Janko for Rb we are good there.

    Nolan again wages and past it anyway, Eboue nah. Ronny would have a fit at Sammy's work rate :smiley-laughing002:

    RD on Carlton Cole: "He’s been good but it’s early. He hasn't trained regularly for a while so he needs some more time."

    RD: "It’s very nice to have him here. He’s a lovely guy and we know he has qualities."

    RD: "He needs more time than that (1 week) but you have to have the eye to see if there’s something there that we can develop."
