Yeah but it's a bit * irrelevant considering we've beaten Dinamo Moscow, Helsinki, Helsingborgs and Spartak Moscow as well as Reykjavik, Cliftonville and Stjarnan in the Champions League since then.

As I wrote earlier in this very thread, Molde being 7th in the Norwegian league means absolutely nothing. They have been struggling with complacency all season after winning several titles and cups on the trot. They have been looking a bit like their old self last couple of months and has raised their game in europe and will probably fight even harder tomorrow as they've got history with Deila, Johansen and Lustig.

Doable, but to claim a non win to be an embarrassment is absolute nonsense.

And as stated, their interim manager is still there and Ole has probably had a finger or two involved in the buildup anyway. The fact that he managed this very group of players a short while ago, and they have fallen since then, really is a motivating factor more than anything.

My money's on both teams to score & over

Should be pointed out we played some of those teams under Mowbray with the likes of Paul McGowan and others from that particular era. We also played the rest on that list in Lennon's first full season, we really should have been put out the competition after the Sion debacle. But we got a reprieve and our performance away in Rennes, Atletico and Udinese that season in the EL were quite encouraging and vast improvements from the game in Sion.

Overall, it was a poor period of time for us in Europe with the team and/or management we had at the time and the changes that were made as a result of that.

    Anyway, I think we'll sneak it 2-1 tomorrow/later.

That's my point. What relevance is it that we haven't won away from home in the EL since 2003 when we've won a few times away from home in the CL since then?

That's just being a negative * for the sake of it.

If it wasn't for total brain farts by out defence in the first 2 game we would probably have 6 out of 6 points, So I think we can go over there and score 2 or 3 but not conceding will be the problem.

I fancy us to get something simply due to the fact we can be so powerful in the air and Commons and Griffiths are both looking sharp.

I don't see us getting goals from anywhere else but I don't think they're going to be a great team. 2-1 us or 1-1.

I fancy 2-1 us myself, but would take a 1-1.

Think this will be the team, Janko was the one struggling with injury. Lustig played 60min and then 90min for Sweden so he should be fine. If he's not expect to see Efe.

Hope Johansen is over his injury problems.

Forrest missing is a blow he has as very effective in both EL games this season.

Solskjær has said that he will go with the interim manager's team selection and tactics since he hasn't really had time with the team yet.

    That's us * then :smiley-laughing002:

We need to show them respect tonight, but we should attack them as if we're favourites. Get an early lead and see it out...
