They are the Norwegian champions and are top of the Group on merit.

We can beat them and I hope we do but they've proven they're a good side and anyone that still thinks they're the whipping boys are deluding themselves.

I don't think you are accounting fully for how poor the general standard of the SPFL is. It is at a very, very low ebb.

Slaw's team is ideal. Was pleased with Blackett's performance at Motherwell, seemed a lot more settled and at ease with what he had to do. Certainly seems like a run of games in the team alongside Boyata is what they both need, provides stability and an understanding of each other's games.

My only thought is Ciftci may get the nod ahead of Griffiths. I think Ronny still likes the idea of Ciftci leading the line for us in Europe.

Ciftci getting the nod over Griff would be criminal.

They look like a team high in confidence. Some slick play involved in the goals. Didn't handle the throw in too well so maybe set pieces will be key. Didn't realise they played on an artificial pitch, big home advantage.

We knew it already but that just reinforces it, we'll have to be on our top game.

Aye they look like a good team but we should have enough to beat them on Thursday.

This will be a draw. They will have done btheir homework and know that we are dodgy as * at defending set pieces when we are under pressure. Think this group is going to be up for grabs right up until the last game.

That will probably be the team unless Johanson is fit, then I can see either Commons or Armstrong losing out.

Blackett seemed alright against Well but I can't wait til Jozo is fit and we have a proper settled back 4.

So long as Efe is nowhere near the back 4 I think it's settled :smiley-laughing002:

I have never been his biggest fan but Commons has to play for me. Centrally as well. He is playing miles better than Johansen just now. I'd probably have Forrest and Armstrong wide though Armstrong wide is far from ideal.

    Haha good shout mate :icon_mrgreen:

I think we look very solid in this group so far with Brown sitting deeper and Bitton linking the play to the forwards. It's much different to how we set up differently, where Brown and Bitton both have license to stray forward.

    How come?

Celtics best attacks agaisnt Motherwell came from Armstrong and Izzy's side.

I think that team just about picks itself if you are basing it on the assumption that Lustig is fully fit and Johansen isn't.

If Commons plays much rather he was in the middle, we will need to play with width as well as pace. Would take a point away and we play them at home just before their last game of the league for them. I think they will lose both games after to Ajax and Fenerbahce.
