Great news lads. He is so important to the way we are trying to play these days, especially in Europe.

You think they might park the bus? I don't know anything about them, only what I heard over the two group games. They countered against Fenerbahce but were more open against Ajax? I just assumed they would be coming at us cause they are at home.

No idea tbh, but I'm guessing they'll do whatever they did against Ajax. Hopefully not, I think we can carve them open if they attack.

Aye it's going to put a spanner in the works if they just counter, I was looking forward to an open game which would hopefully give us better attacking options. I'm hoping Ronny being Norwegian will know them well and have some good ideas.

Forrest is so important especially if they are defensive because we need to drag their players out wide and get in behind them.

Any team can have freak results. Well freak result really, Ajax are average as *. Drawing at home to them is nothing to be pleased about.

We're not going there on Thursday thinking they would be third in our league :smiley-laughing002:

    Freak results :56:

Typically arrogant and patronising attitude to any League other than those we get to see regularly here.

Molde are top of the Group on merit, they are a vastly better football team than Aberdeen or any other Scottish side.

There is zero relativity to any of your opinions, if Ajax are 'average as *' then Aberdeen are junior level.

We will need to be at our very best to take anything from this game.

I wouldn't be terribly upset with another draw to be honest. Would want to get our first win soon enough though.

    Haha sorry, * autocorrect:87:

How are they better though? Fenerbache and Ajax hit them with everything but the kitchen sink. Just because they beat a couple of good teams doesn't mean they are themselves a good team, st Johnstone beat ronseborg and then get pumped out by some Moldovan mob. We should be beating molde.

Neither would I, purely based on how the league has gone so far, but I'd be worried about if ajax turn over fenerbace it's going to leave us with some huge pressure from then on in. We need points from the next 3 games, and ajax getting a head of steam up on us would make that ropey for us. I know it's greedy, but I'd really like to see us pinch the whole 9 points from the next 3.

Its no hard to be better than most Scottish teams. The Scandinavian leagues are streets ahead of us.

Not us personally. But the league we play in then yes.

It's a step up from our domestic competition but then so is everything we face in Europe.

We will just have to * annihilate them!

I would be absolutely delighted if we could get 4 points from these two games against these coming up. We need to beat them at home no matter what though.
