Rich uncles. They're a big club now (for Norway) because they have two of the richest men in Norway backing them. They play in blue, won a double last season and have been poor this season. Pretty much exactly like Chelsea.

 

I would take a draw if I could be guaranteed the win at Celtic Park.

I think we are built better to get three points from this game though.

Makes as much sense as the guy saying they'd finish 3rd at best in Scotland..

 

I think he's saying that based on their form this season they'd be the third best team in Scotland. The fact they are 7th in Norway probably justifies that, no?

But a Norwegian journalist based in Scotland = clueless. That really makes no sense.

 

They were poor and unlucky in the beginning of the season, but have been much better recently. It's a better team than Aberdeen imo.

 

Not really, look at Malmo. Were toiling mid table but are unbeaten at home in how many game's? And pumped us out and been in the Champions league two year's on the spin. Would they finish below the sheep?

Molde with 10 men if I remember right missed two pens to unluckily go out to Zagreb who just pumped Arsenal and are sitting pretty in top place after battering Fenerbache away and drawing with Ajax at home, after two game's. To think that they wouldn't be toppling the sheep behind us, I don't get where he's coming from. Flooded with internationals as well..

My comment was flippant as he seems out of touch..

 

It seems they raise their game in Europe. Or maybe just hitting form at the wrong time for us.

I still think it's down to us. We are a better team than Malmo, of that I have no doubt. We just bottled it. Same as we have done against Ajax and Fenerbahce.

Malmo and Molde realistically won't be to far off each other in terms of quality. If we play as well as we can I expect us to get at least 4 points from the two games.

 

Just checked out the Molde squad.

They've got a 40 year old in midfield who looks to be a regular :smiley-laughing002:

Looks like they've got a few good attacking players though in Kamara and Elyounoussi.

They're squad is relatively young all over bar that midfielder... Noticed they have a 20 year old in goals too, maybe we can get some joy at set peices.

 

think us and ajax there game will draw worth a wager

 

In addition to those two, Vegard Forren is a good CB, and I like Martin Linnes as well. It really is a pretty decent team. We should be a bit better, but we can't underestimate them.

 

I think the "team" factor is a worry.

Fener should have a better "team" than us and Molde but it hasn't panned out that way.

We need to hope our "team" is better than their "team".

It wont be a walkover and neither should it be.

 

Do they have any obvious weaknesses in defence like a slow full back Forrest might get a lot of joy from?

 

Is Forrest even going to be fit for this game?

 

Their CBs are not the quickest. They're experienced and know how to read the game, but lack pace. Griffiths might be able to take advantage if they dont park the bus.
