He's obviously a bully he was threatening & trying to intimidate the biker.

Or did you see it differently?

I like how the uploader of the video cuts a huge chunk out so we don't see how he winds up Ronnie. Why was he sitting at the side of the Picasso when there was plenty of room to park in front of it at the roundabout?

I certainly agree with the bit in bold, it's impossible to know whether he's a bully or not basing ourselves on one incident. I just don't see why it would have been funny if the cyclist had agreed to the fight and then leathered him. Why do you think it would have been funny?

They also cut out the bit when I was inconvenienced and rolled up on them and * beat seven shades of * out of both of them for ruining my day.

Too many people editing to make themselves look good these days.

No, but I'm confused, genuinely. If it's the car driver that wound you up, your daughter wouldn't be in the car with him, so that makes me think it was the motorcyclist that wound you up.

I wouldn't be on a bike mate, I would be in a car. I'm just looking at this from my point of view. I'm looking at the clip from my point of view and the guy was an angry wee hobbit and needs sorting out.

Gets me home in one piece while he is picking up his teeth for being a numbskull.

In all seriousness mate, if I had family in my car and a guy like that started giving me verbals and cutting me up and generally being a *, I would invite him somewhere quiet away from everyone so we could chat.

Hmmm, I don't know. I think it's something deep in our society that it demeans large swathes of the population and has been like that for a while. How long? I'd just be guessing but certainly at least since the 19th century (i.e. modern in that sense). Obviously there have been changes in what forms of cruelty and injustice are sanctioned and what not. For instance Racism and Homophobia are less common (but by no means dead!) now, cruelty based on things like looks, weight, old age, or just plain low status is stronger than ever, though. I do also feel it has got worse during my lifetime (I'm roughly the same age as you), before that I don't know.

An example, when I was young women were under enormous pressure with regard to their looks and men with regard to their career success. Thank * we don't have that anymore. No now both sexes have both kinds of pressure. Fantastic.

It's no wonder we're so medicated and sometimes just plain lose it.

True, very good point. She actually seemed really embarrassed. OK, even if he is a bully, why would it be funny?

Again I agree with you to an extent. However I am fairly confident there were folk running around Ancient Greece or Rome at the height of it's power, or even Ancient Britain giving it " you know you I am".

I think cruelty and injustice have always been around and people have always lost their temper. Ronnie Pickering is far from unique but he did make a bit of a * of himself and unfortunately for him he did it on camera.
