    Yes, it seems miracle comebacks do happen, just as saw with Eminiem's last vote winner over Micheal Jackson at the same stage in BotBII, history has repeated!


    And so it has proven, as Nirvana (ThumbFloyd) has been knocked out at the last hurdle. After reaching the Final in the first BotB, Nirvana seemed to be many people's favourite to do likewise here, no doubt highlighted by their 3 Group stage wins.

    Awesome showing here! Sadly it was not to be. :54:

    But just as it was the one time that Nirvana didn't win the group it was Thin Lizzy on hand once again. Thin Lizzy it seems is Nirvana kyptonite.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2 FINALISTS!!!



    So to our Finalists, The Doors & Thin Lizzy.


    You have achieved what 14 others set out to.

    However, this is as far as you can go on your own steam. Obviously, you can't vote in this final round, so the power is entirely in the hands of the Jury.

    However, before this is handed over to the voters, you each have one final chance to impress.

    Each of you can showcase your selection by nominating 3 songs from 3 different albums/releases (doesn't matter what or when).

    Being as this is the final, giving the chance to showcase 3 songs should give those voting to have a reasonable overview of each artist's work, in addition to any songs that have previously been promoted.

    These can be any song from any album but can also include any tracks that were not actually released on an album, were done so independently as singles, on live albums, soundtracks etc. So long as the 3 were not on the same initial release.

    Once they have been sent to me, I will post these on here, and the voting will open for those that will ultimately be deciding which artist deserves to be crowned the champion of the third TC Battle of the Bands!

    On the line is a cool v$250,000 prize to the victor!
