One of the best places ı've been to on my way to Australia and New Zealand back in 1989.I was there in August ,extremely warm, humid.Every * place had air conditioning.Very clean city, excellent sea food, cheap electronics and wonderfull little looking girls.I stayed one day on the way to Melbourne but after my return from New Zealand I spent 5 nights there. When I was in my hotel I was getting calls from escort companies:50:.Lovely little ones! But a long flight.İt took me 11,5 hours from İstanbul to Singapour and since I am not keen on flying,I was totally drunk by the time the plane landed. A ''must'' see place!

    Singapore is a great place.

It's best to go when the F1 is in town. Not only just for the racing, but it brings a great vibe across the place.

I found Singapore much dearer than the UK for many things. Electrical good are cheaper here in the UK and £8 a beer in a pub was too much. Even drink in the supermarkets was pricey.

It's way too hot for me though. 36° was the average when we were there and it doesn't get cooler at night. It's too hot for dressing up to go out.

It's a place I'd recommend to most people who are into this kind of holiday. It's easy to get flights in and out to make it a two stop holiday.
