Well he's scored more than 30 in Scotland.

I think you are wrong here. I think it would be good for him and I also think it would be good for the rest of the team as well. If we got Commons behind him and Griff then he would be fed. We could drop our high defensive line and protect our new defense as well. I dont see any risks for switching to the diamond for a few games only solutions to potential problems.

I would rather play the diamond, it wouldn't be to give Ciftci a helping hand though. He's more suited to being up top himself than anything else, he is creative though and he enjoys a fight with the centre backs, so more than anything it would suit Griffiths as he'd have someone next to him occupying the centre backs.

Just another Pawel Brozek in my opinion.. Would have loved Lassad Back at the club as I thought he was very good in the air and was really good team player. Never selfish just a Good squad player that added a lot upfront and could finish without hesitation.

It has a double purpose like I said. Protect the defense and help him get off the mark. You know the way our fans are like when strikers dont do the business. I think Pukki and Scepovic could have made it here more their own fault than anything else but we do not need Ciftci to fall into the same sort of traps.

You gonna say Ciftci doesn't have 3 goals in him over 14 appearances? that is what Lassad had with us.

Did he get a fair chance? maybe not but if there was a player in him he would be playing for a reputable team, where does he play now though F.C Tokyo and had 2 appearances for Tunisia.

Easy to say that when we had very good strikers at the club at the time plus watt was there as well. His finishing ability was really good. Just can't see cifcti doing the same as every time I've seen him play he just seems to hold up the ball and not look for it in the box. Very frustrating. I do not have any confedince in our strikeforce at the moment except from griffths as he's proved he has the ability but stokes on his game is a bit better but not griffths level. Think we will struggle for goals when griffths gets injured as ciftci doesn't cut it for me. Lassad was a good player. Played in really good leagues all his career. Now back home playing his trade as he's coming to the end.

According to Wiki, which I realise isn't the best source, he's got 26 goals in 111 games. All but one in his 68 games for Dundee Utd.

Can't believe we bought him with that return of goals. Just think we're too big for him but hopefully I'm wrong. Lassad was better. Scored a lot more in his career.

So at his current rate of scoring, if we're looking for 25 goals, he'll need to play about 93 games. I think that suspension might have left him with a mountain to climb :icon_mrgreen:

Chris Sutton scored once for Chelsea in 28 games. Henrik was 1 in 4 for Feyenoord.

Records and stats are misleading, let's see how he does if he gets a run of games. He's only 23.

Never said his record was good. Did you read my post? Asked if it was true he had only scored 30 odd goals in his career, but he's scored over 30 in Scotland so thats why I said a lot of *.

Turns out it's true then if this post if right

Answers my question. Cheers mate :50:

If that's the case then, did he fail to score, or only score a few in the previous league(s) he played in?

Where the * is ILTC when you need him :smiley-laughing002:
