Looks to be in the vein of Ryan Gauld, hope we recall Ryan if he keeps doing well

I'd say they're a wee bit different, Gauld has better close control, Christie a bit quicker. Gauld is better though, classier.

He's a very clever player, totally focused on his football. That's maybe as good an assist as you'll get. He's got the ball at the edge of the box and made the two defenders look daft.

He's sent them both the wrong way with one touch, knew where he wanted to work the ball way in advance, got there and weighted a perfect cross taking out the keeper.

There is a lot of quality there and with the right program he can maybe toughen up as well.

From a tactical point of view it gives us a very attack minded midfield, when questions are being asked about the future of Stokes, who could link up very well with him and Mulgrew, who seems to be on a bit of poor run of form.

Christie could be just what we need to press the ball better on that side of the pitch and also find the spaces to pass or run into.

Just back from travelling for a month and seen we've singed this wee diving *! Can't believe it, there are few players in the Scottish Premier League I would have wanted less than this wee *.

That said I voiced similar things about Griffiths (and Ciftci but jury is still out on him for me) so hopefully I'll be eating my words.

Will support the guy 100% when he pulls on the hoops, welcome to Celtic Ryan.

Few players you'd have wanted less in the premier league than a hugely talented young Celtic fan?

A goal and an assist today so far. Apparently he scored a belter.
