As Above, was a strange tactical change. Obviously turned out to be the making of one of the best celtic games i have watched but still.

If i remember correctly he took off Lustig around the 75 minute mark and brought on watt as his replacement. We were winning 1-0 at this point and should have been looking to bring on another defender and see the game out (probably). Did this mean that we had no right back for a period of time?

I'm obviously not complaining but i was just thinking that if TW didn't score that goal we would all be flaming lennon for this decision.

if i remember right our bench was full of youth players and the only striker we had other than miku was tony watt, so we had to bring him on as miku had a yellow and mustve been shattered

It wasn't like Tony was a complete rookie though he'd played and scored for the 1st team a few times previously completely different to bringing a 16 year old on for a debut

    Miku was brilliant that night.

I will never forget the atmosphere after Watt scored, never heard noise like it, was amazing

Watt had been making a good few appearances at the time, pace to burn and full of confidence.

Watt had been playing well also. Didn't this come right after he scored a cracking double up at Inverness ?

Boruc assisted a goal in the Champions League as well, Vennegoor at Old Trafford.

Makes us sound like a long ball team :smiley-laughing002:

He could be our number 1 striker right now. Has pace, finishing, and good in the air. Shame about his attitude but I don't even think Ronny got a chance to work with him.

    I miss T.Watt :54:

He could have been something special for us, think the goal did make him a bit arrogant though.
