Didn't know this...my belief in our medical team continues to plummet. How incompetent can you get? :54:

It was a bone in his foot or something as has been said.

Pretty impossible to play with a broken leg I'd imagine:56:

Aye was thinking that myself when someone said broken leg. Still that is pretty amatuer from our medical team.

Just hope he's as good as we all want him to be. If he is, a 352 could definitely suit us in certain games.

Janko and Tierney the full backs with Jozo, Erik and Kolo as the centre backs. Promising.

I gave up hope in this player long ago. Didn't look that good before his injuries.

    Cheers mate :50:

Sooner than I thought actually. I have a feeling he can turn out to be a decent player for us. Let's hope he stays injury free.

Good to see another one of our central defenders getting back to fitness.

I really am intrigued as to what type of player Simunovic is - we haven't seen enough of him to deduce.

I thought he looked good when he first came in. Team was a riot at the time and he still managed some good performances.

Trying to stay positive but I have a horrible feeling he will be constantly injured. :54:

From the fairly little we saw, he looks like he reads the game quite well, has a bit of pace and he's quite comfortable on the ball. Never looked great in the air and he wasn't the most powerful of defenders, but he's still young.

I'm excited at the prospect of a Simunovic-Sviatchenko pairing.

Look forward to seeing him back and what he's made of.

Not going to judge him anymore on what he did before as he was playing with a broken bone in his knee by all accounts which must have caused him great discomfort every game he played meaning he could never play at 100%.

I'm hopeful he'll be decent enough for us.

Still think Lustig, Erik and Toure will all be ahead of him this season though.

Needs to bulk up a wee bit and improve in the air for a guy of his size. Looked pretty good at bringing it out from the back if I remember correctly, pretty good in the tackle.
