    I definitely think that is what is happening.

    We know the media always upscale the fees. Lennon even said so with Boeriggter and Pukki etc.

    We've known for months that the chances are Virgil will be off in this window so I'd imagine the scouts have been on the look out for a replacement for a while. That alone tells me this isn't a panic buy.

    I meant more in terms of the fee. If we're paying any more than £3m for him it screams panic to me. I'll be astounded if this guy can comfortably replace Virgil, going by what many have said on here and on their forums.

    To be fair though, that is woeful defending as a team.

    Celtic play a high line like that too but we usually leave 2 centre-backs or 2 centre-backs and a centre mid back so it would look like....

    Dinamo left themselves there like this:

    2 forward on 1 defender with massive gaps, although the slip is still a mistake it's probably brought on by the sheer panic of being left massively exposed like that.

    I agree totally, it is the teams fault that he was in that position in the first place. All I am saying is that he just needed to kick the ball out since he was on the ball before the attacker. And as a result of his panic, goal chance was created that could cost team the cup. It has happened more then once and things like that cost points.
