    Molde are obviously a handy enough team but I doubt they are that great. Seems to me like Fenerbahce just had a nightmare.

    You're assuming that's man to man marking 'done right', I haven't got that much confidence in our defence as yet. Look at our goal against Ajax, that's man to man, very easy to block * off in that type of defending.

    I prefer a bit of a mixture myself.

    I mind seeing him for Monchengladbach when we played them in pre-season a few year back. Was only about 18 then but he was still immense.

    Don't think that's far off it.....wasn't really until Izzy went off that they looked a decent enough side, up until then I had been expecting more from them.

    It was annoying to not get the 3 points but considering our recent form and away Euro record we should take that.

    Sets up Fenerbache nice and that should be a good night, hope enough agree with me to make it a healthy and noisy crowd.

    Very true but the zonal marking we are persisting with is no better. At least an attacker has a physical battle before winning the ball with man to man. To be honest our defence is fairly new and I'm hoping the zonal will, through time, become well implemented in our defensive tactics. But Ajax's defence was very poor tonight, possibly worse than ours at this moment in time. We aren't a great example of defensive qualities but neither are they. We easily could have had another goal as the game went on with the 2 or 3 breakaways we had, had we made a better decision or better pass.

    Very happy with the performance and think on balance we should have won, izzy getting sent off really was so stupid to be beyond words- id go as far to say it was unprofessional. We were very comfortable with 11 v 11. Commons was excellent and thought we showed tonight the performance we should have shown in malmo, good improvement and a good point so happy.

    Wasn't happy seeing Milik or Schone come on though. Probably the difference in the quality of the teams.

    I wonder just how much they were missing Heitinga?

    That is the difference, Strachan mentioned it at HT.

    In terms of their defence there isn't much separating us but the 3 behind and the main striker they beat us in every area. Some real tricky * and the kind of players we need for Europe. I rate Nemanja Gudelj in CM as well.

    Has Heitinga played for them yet?

    Just caught a few highlights of the Fenerbache game there Molde got a penalty then played it beautifully on the counter attack don't think there gonna be the group whipping boys this will be a tight close group dropped points could be vital

    We stood up tonight as a collective unit. No one could fail to be proud at some of our play and the way we stood firm to get something out of the game..

    As I've mentioned tonight, we still carry passengers in game's and tonight showed it. That was ours, 11 players instead of say 8/9 and who knows how good we woulda been here?

    It was disappointing to concede how we did after going down to 10 as we looked good and compact with the flat 5 in midfield, and equally as dangerous on the break. As a team and Ronny tactically, we got pretty much everything bang on..

    Still proud of us tonight. Plenty big balls tonight..

    Not sure but it looks like the defence needs some experience.

    Fair play to Ajax, they look back at stage 1 of another quality side. Don't know how they manage it.

    It's probably the combination of their quality youth team and the fact they can cherry pick the best players in and around Holland before foreign clubs take notice. They always seem to have ALOT of joy shopping in Scandinavia.
