Tricky but second best tie we could get in all honesty.

Copenhagen, Zagreb or Ludogorets would have been bad.

This thread was created to discuss our journey through the play offs , not a thread to spout racial abuse . Religion or beliefs have nothing to do with who we have been drawn against today , as for the "Israeli * " statements ,it is in fact you the racist * hiding behind social media to spout your views , in this day and age there is no place for that * , especially not on a football forum . There are Israeli members on this forum and your not thinking about them .

Well not to try and convince you either way, because I know political discussion isn't allowed in here, but if you think it doesn't affect you and yours, you're naïve.

I dont buy in to that at all.
Teams make it this far on merit, not luck.

    Hmm.

I'm 50/50. Don't know a lot about them combined with the fact they have put out CL regulars in Olympiacos.

Athens isn't an easy place to go and not concede but they managed it. Probably a better draw on the face of it than the likes of Zagreb and Ludogrets, mind.

    Need some new faces in.

Give it a rest. One or two posts with that expression might be expressing sincere beliefs but this is just trolling now.

Hapoel Be’er Shevan might be a team on the rise right now, but they haven’t been great before.
In the 1995/96 European Cup Winners Cup, they were defeated 12-0 on aggregate by Barcelona.
In the 97/98 edition, Dutch club Roda JC put 14 past them over two legs to win 14-1.

Celtic fans, Hapoel Beer Sheva are the team you want to avoid.
The Israeli Champions are as stingy as it comes and might be the best team Celtic have faced in the play-offs in recent memory.
They are a relative unknown quantity but they shook up their league with a stunning title triumph last year and it looks like they want to improve this campaign.
They knocked out perennial qualifiers Olympiacos after a keenly contested 1-0 aggregate win but they have a real solidity and togetherness across their backline.

They only conceded 24 goals last season and shut down the Greek side’s attacking options across both legs.
Romanian enforcer Ovidiu Hoban was excellent at Euro 2016 and captain and hometown hero Elyaniv Barda is the lifeblood of the team.
They feel like a side destined for the group stages.

All this got to fear Hapoel be'er sheva as they put out Olympiacos.
Olympiacos are trying to buy Efe Ambrose so that shows how bad they are

I think that them knocking out Olympiacos was a freak result. They've done absolutely nothing of note in Europe before this season, FC Thun who came fourth in the Swiss league knocked them last season. The Moldovan champions Tiraspol managed to score twice against them in Israel so if they can do it then so can we.

Possibly the best draw we could have got ffs. Dundalk would have been harder than this imo. Distance and the heat in the away leg is the only downside but surely that shouldnt be a problem, we're not going there by bus fs.
