2nd leg at home would have been great but have a feeling this will be much trickier than a lot expect. I have no faith in us at the moment so hopefully we can get the defence sorted and solid and a little bit of creativity in before the deadline.

Conceding two goals to a 10 man Sheriff team at home has got to give us a bit of hope surely?

Just looked up this place, these Israeli * seem to be situated in the middle of the desert.

If we can get Lustig, Erik, Toure and Tierney all fit then that defence will be extremely solid.

Going to Israel will be the issue, as opposed to the quality of the opposition

I imagine it's pretty humid and hot over there at the moment?

Few players in and some back from injury, we should have more than enough to go through. If we can't see off teams like this, we don't deserve to be there anyway.

Bit of a trek for us but we should be able to beat them especially if we can make a couple of additions to the team.

No easy games at this level. We will need to show the same metal we did against astana. Other than a defensive/ goal keeping mix up. We have have been robust, at least.

Lets just play our way and see bow it goes. I prefer away tie first. But its a moot point.

    Defo :50:

I'm happy with the draw... Other than Dundalk I feel they were the next best option.

I'm sure Bitton will have some knowledge on them to share with Brendan.

Lawwell only opens his cheque book under severe duress

He'll expect us to beat these and won't spend anything until the qualification money is safely in his hands

Win the first leg 5-0 then send Efe, Forrest, Gms, and all the other underachievers over for the 2nd leg to get a good workout in the desert :icon_mrgreen:

We should be acclimitised to hot weather now after Red Imps and Astana.
Heat shouldn't be a problem. Is it another artificial pitch or grass ?.
If Ronny had got draws like this during his tenure, instead of Malmo and Maribor, including have to play at Murrayfield, it might have been different for him.
