Seemed like the second best draw behind Dundalk for me. They are obviously well organised and don't ship many goals but Astana were the same and we got by them. Not having as much of a goal threat with our defense and midfield the way it is, is probably better for us than them having a decent back line.

Second best draw we could have got.I honestly think Astana are better team than these *. Won't be easy, but I 'm delighted we avoided Copenhagen, Zagreb and Ludogorec. Hopefully we add one or two players before registration deadline.

Seem to be another defensive team but don't have much else by the looks of it.
Once again though if we can't beat teams like this over 2 Legs then we don't deserve Champions League Footie.

Apart from Dundalk I'd say they were the easiest draw for us by a long shot.

    0-0 away to Sheriff
    3-2 home to Sheriff
    0-0 away to Olympiakos
    1-0 home to Olympiakos

Looks like another Qarabag or Astana... 3 clean sheets from 4 games.

Hard to quantify where Dundalk are right now after beating Bate 3-0 .
I would personally put them above this Israeli team.

If we have a fully fit team compromising of at least players such as Lustig, Toure, Erik, Bitton, Tierney, Roberts, Rogic, Dembele (Hopefully finds form) and maybe a new signing or two then I'll be feeling pretty confident. Wouldn't mind seeing Commons either but that's highly doubtful.

If like the last tie though guys like Armstrong, McGregor, Johansen and a few others are featuring then I will have the fear going into it. I'm also very, very worried about Gordon as well.

We need to really spook them at home, come firing out the blocks like we did against Malmo except this time go for 3 and 4 and finish the job in the first leg.

They played Sheriff Tiraspol in the qualifying round before Olympiakos. First leg at home they were 1-0 down after 20 minutes, Sheriff got a man sent off after 26 mins and Berr Sheva won the leg 3-2 after that, two of them being penalties.

Second leg they drew 0-0 with 0 shots on target for Beer.

My guess is this draw will see Lawwell open the cheque book.
I would expect one or two in by Monday now. Signal of intent.
