Don't see why many are wanting to avoid Legia. I want the easiest draw possible but at the end of the day, we play who we play. Legia will surely be out for revenge with regards to our past but you also have to think that this Celtic team will have those embarassing losses fresh enough in some of the core players to want to prove we are the better team. I think Celtic vs Legia would be the tie of the playoff round if both eventually progress. Have to deal with Astana at home before we delve to deep into potential matchups

 

Tbh I dont fear any of those Teams if we play a good performance against Astana and we habe Eri back for the play offs. Ambose needs to be out oft the squad too of course.

Actually, knowing my luck we'd probably draw one of the two Madrid teams (I just left Madrid after nearly 2 years).

Not as simple as that, there's a greater probability of playing certain teams based on the results of the first leg and the likelihood of them seeded. For example, there's a much higher chance of us getting Zagreb or Copenhagen in the next round than Dundalk, partly due to the fact they're both much more likely to get through as shown in the table.

ETA - the percentages are the likelihood of drawing them as it stands, not after this round of games. You're correct in saying its a 20% chance of getting any of the when it comes to the actual draw.

Regardless, and i hope to * i'm wrong, i think we'll be playing Europa Group stages. There's some decent sides ahead if we qualify and we're still pretty much the same team as last year which is actually pretty gutting. It's like de ja vu time and time again!

Anyway, after we qualify tomorrow night, i'll be my usual optimistic self and hope for a decent draw on Friday!
