Once again we're playing a team that aren't even in * Europe to get into Europe.

At the end of the day can only comment on what we see and what I saw was a team that we should be beating no matter what state we are in at the moment and that's the truth of it? Whats point of fear mongering realistically we should be beating Red gimps and Astana from watching the games.

:56: It's always the same. Be a difficult tie, no doubt about it.

Astana fans watching us against part timers from Gibraltar last week are probably pretty confident of pumping us.

They might just have had a * game.

They were in the CL last year and played well in it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they started as favourites against us and judging by our own recent performances in Europe, they won't be approaching a game against us with any fear whatsoever unfortunately.

To be honest, we can talk as much as we like about Astana picking up points in the CL, but Qarabag very much held their own before we faced them in the EL group stages (beat the eventual runners-up Dnipro, drew with St Etienne home and away, drew with Inter) and after (beat Anderlecht and drew with Monaco) yet we still beat beat them over two legs.

I would worry about Astana, especially the away leg, but these ties are always going to be a worry with the state we see the team in. But if you were an Astana fan, you'd be worried about facing a team with our resources and European experience just as much as we're worried about them.

That's if we do the job tonight of course...

They're poor in attack... Decent in defence.

    23 games, scoring 36, conceding 13.

    .....

They've just scraped by Zalgiris in the last minute, 2 goals from corners.... I don't see why we should fear them.

Yes they were in the CL..... Last season.

    Things change.

Well, I certainly hope Rogers sorts out that weakness we had defending set-pieces under Ronny last year.

To our defence we aren't even a game in to our season. They've played what, 10 competitive game's so far? And looked garbage in both Euro game's by all accounts..

We shouldn't be fearing these side's whatsoever in my opinion..

Regardless of whether they scraped through there we need to improve big time and we all know it.

Qarabag and Karagandy games were bother tricky ties. This will be no different.

I know people like to be on the side of caution these days with ties like this but we should be beating this side. They are obviously well orgonised and teams find it difficult playing over there but they are not a side to fear and one I think not counting for a couple Efe errors we should go through against.

Just seen that Astana result....didn't want that.

    * last minute goal and we're travelling half way round the globe. Mind you, they've to do the same. Not being presumptous at all of course.

Right lads, do you think Joe Hart should still start in the quarter final v France???
