I hate to say it but when Rangers come back up our board will probably start spending money again.

We haven't had a tecnhical, creative player for the last five * years. It was the same * with Lennon, mind Juve? No creativity so we just passed the ball aimlessly all night. The next CL campaign? The same. And its the same * thing this time around, as it was last year. One shot on target today.. embarrassing.

Oh dont worry we've just signed Scott Allan! Yay!

Will the board see now that there needs to be an overhaul in player scouting and recruitment? Seems every season this is the qiestion being asked.

    * shameful display tonight, Ronny after the game seemed out his depth in that interview two seasons in a trot now put out by a * lower class side i could've accepted going out with a stronger response than that but by christ we were * not one player looked to have a bit of fight in them.

I think it's simply down to our players not handling the massive pressure on them to qualify. Maribor last year & Malmo this year are not better than Celtic. We spend more money than both and should have beaten both. The players * a brick on both occasions.

Firstly, this incarnation of 'Rangers' have never been in the league.

Secondly, I agree with you. The board have not been spending as much as they should have since 2012 and even before then, simply because the league has been a foregone conclusion and we've also been doing fairly well in Europe since they died.

That won't last forever. They will get promoted and they might even build a side good enough to challenge us.

It may take 2-3 years, maybe more, but we're kidding ourselves on if we think that they won't challenge for the title one day. Only then will the board get the finger out and start buying better players.

Don't worry I'm sure tomorrow night we will see the team running in slow motion behind the goals laughing & joking on STV. I mean they will still get paid £££thousands for failure. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Can't wait to hear the spin from Lawwell when * van * leaves on Monday.

Wouldn't it be nice to wake up to a statement from the board saying
This is not good enough , we have short changed the fans,VVD is staying and we are spending 20 mil

I didn't like the idea of playing Mulgrew and Forrest. Though Forrest didn't play worse than the most of the others he was not a great team player. I'd chosen GMS instead at the start.

As I see Malmo had a better game plan. They played more bravely and unselfishly for the their game plan from the start. Celtic played too slow using mostly the wings. The high tempo disappeared which helped Malmö to press all the time. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was Griffiths.
