I share this sentiment. Celtic plays games against good teams way too seldom since the league is so incredibly uncompetative. This is why Malmø can win having a much smaller budget. It`s easier for them because while they less money, they play better teams in Sweden and are in the middle of the season.

 

I really thought that after that embarrassment last year we would come back much stronger...I was so wrong.

Celtic won't be back in the champions league for a few years going by this.

 

Disappointed of course, as EL doesn't really compare to the CL, but there are a right few good teams in it we can test ourselves against, especially if we can make it through the group stages.

I'm disappointed in Celtic for not scoring tonight because defensively Malmo are a shocking team. They looked shambolic at times and poor performances from serval key players and a lack of belief stopped is from scoring. I suppose if you let stats and mind games convince you you cannot scot at Malmo then you will not score.

We'll need to accept we are a Europa League CLUB trying to build ourselves into a Champions League CLUB. Let's accept that and get behind our club and turn up for these games. Only then will we grow into the club we should be.
